So let me get this straight: We can’t find the budget to pay our actual TSA agents, but we’ve got plenty of cash to bus in ICE agents with zero experience to do their jobs? Efficiency at its finest. What a slap in the face to the people who actually know what they’re doing.

Over the course of my life, I have shoveled snow dozens of times, and not ONCE have I ever needed an ID. Never needed a passport to go to work either. Hell, my drivers' license is sufficient to board a plane as long as I'm flying within the continental U.S. These jackasses are doing a verbal sleight-of-hand. They keep saying "You can't do ___ without an ID," to make it seem like DEMs are being unreasonable. "Oh, why are you so opposed to voter ID? You need an ID to buy cigarettes / buy beer / watch a sunset." But they're not telling the whole story, they think everybody's dumb: they want you to THINK they're just talking about drivers' licenses as ID. They're NOT. Their stupid "SAVE Act" does not find drivers' licenses, college IDs, or even military IDs as acceptable -- you need a passport. That costs $165. And in order to get a passport, you need a certified birth certificate. So THAT is a big difference, isn't it? Drivers' license to buy beer? Fine, no prob. Drivers' license to vote? Sure, I have that. BIRTH CERTIFICATE AND PASSPORT TO VOTE? Now you have to make an appointment to apply for a copy of your birth certificate, then get passport picture taken, PAY $165 for passport, wait 4-6 weeks. If you had to do all that to buy a beer, buy a pack of cigarettes, or shovel snow, you'd rightly be pissed. Now apply that to voting. They're ALSO not saying how their unconstitutional POLL TAX bill does away with mail-in ballots. It's not a voter ID bill. It's a voter suppression bill.

Severe weather has only gotten worse since trying to regulate away climate change. Why do all the morons in politics love throwing money where it does nothing to help. We tried to regulate and it hasn't made anything better the wind still blows and the ice still melts. So my eyes are telling me the science is clear environmental protections are a waste of tax payer dollars because they have little to no effect.

They oppose the enforcement because of who is sitting in the Whitehouse. This is all because they hate Trump. Republicans blocked Democrats' bill to pay TSA workers AGAIN.   Then, they blocked our bill to fund all of DHS besides ICE & CBP...AGAIN.   We've given Republicans every chance to solve this TODAY. They refuse unless Congress cuts a blank check to ICE. Not happening.

There is money but why keep throwing money at a broken policy. Its a waste of tax payer money to continue to support something this awful. The Affordable Care Act is it worked wouldn't require subsidies. Since we now know its a failure its time to let it die and replace it with something that may work.

In Trump's America there is NO money to extend the ACA tax credits and prevent premiums from skyrocketing but there's always money for a war of choice with NO end in sight. Republicans CHOSE to let this happen—and working families are paying the price.
