The elephant in the room even back when I was working on Tech Jacket the comic was the fact that Robert created two black haired protagonists fairly close to each other that looked almost identical. Sometimes it did feel like we were working on "Invincible Jr: The Comic" lol

@zeraora_77 @nocontextnvncbl This was a decision made by the creator who is adapting his own character. This is like saying the Netflix adaptation of one piece casting is disrespectful to oda.

@nocontextnvncbl Because of things like this, anime will always be better than any adaptation made by Americans. The difference is that in Japan, creators respect each other and themselves.

I get why they did it. He's suppose to be this monstrous space bandit that slaughters hundreds of thousands and is the leader of a bunch of crackhead alien marauders but he looks like some pot head you'd see at a burning man concert. So instead they tried to make him look more like what you'd think of when you hear alien space bandit [taking ques from Marvel's Guardians/ Mad Max/ Borderlands character design] But it ended up just making him look REALLY fucking generic.

@tyreon1 Esse design dele n só é genérico, como tmb tira o contexto cultural do original. As roupas dos piratas da HQ eram inspirados nos cangaceiros, uns foras da lei q aterrorizaram o nordeste do Brasil no século passado, se eles n queriam "só um cara", podiam plmns se inspirar naquilo

@tyreon1 I used to think that the point of his design was that he looked like what you would typically expect from the rougish, trickster MC of a fantasy adventure like this one, twist being that he’s actually the villlain.

@Southern_Shogun @PickleChip15 Earth 2 is the justice society. They are the legacy that remains after the deaths of the original trinity. If I were to have an earth 1 vig it would probably be closer to the more villainous version seen in arrow and the modern comics
