Very funny situation from sofa but remember: the guy who will do the last massive pull to catch Mathieu in last km, loses any chance to win the sprint so he will look like an idiot. Instead, all 4 decided to share that honour. 🤝 Can't blame them, ok maybe only Florian a little because he's a UAE rider so he should have made Mathieu lose just as a message before Ronde. But he seems to really like Mathieu LOL, he prefered him over the others. #E3SaxoClassic

They are all winners, thats why they didnt take the last pull. If you only count 1.places in cycling in 2026 then 99,9% can go home. Awesome result for Hagens.

I will be harsh… Today’s cycling is full of riders who just like to travel the world, make good money with it, and absolutely do not care if they win, finish second, or just somewhere in the bunch; at most, they are happy to have good numbers and earn some UCI points. Where is the passion? The winning mentality? The kind of mindset that says: I would rather go all in and lose than never try? Because in the end, isn’t cycling supposed to be about daring to win, not just riding not to lose?

Pogachar sitt sykkeloppsett til MSR. 28mm foran og 30mm bak samt 1x drev foran. Det var mest aerodynamisk visstnok selv om de hjula muligens er 24mm internbredde og minihooked. Imens tråkker annenhver amatør på 32mm på smoothe veier…rolling resistance vettu.

@LucGrefte What a lame race from Mvdp. He was cooked after Cipressa, coming back after the crash probably cost him alot. The sprints of Mvdp lately, and he rolls with Pogi when he is over the limit before Poggio? We seriously have the two best riders doing friendly favours for eachother?

Going forward, if you’re Trek or Visma, do you not follow Pogacar on the Cipressa and instead set up a group for a proper chase in the valley? They got close, despite Visma not helping in most of the chase because Van Aert was still behind

@hmmjwhs It's a two-edged sword. Either he's scared due to his abundance of crashes, or he chooses to not take risks because it's only Tirreno-Adriatico. Either way, his competition doesn't struggle with it.

Wout van Aert's physical level at Strade Bianche was exactly where I expected it to be, but what I'd like to see before the classics, is the ability to position himself in corners like this one, because that was an obstacle last year. #TirrenoAdriatico
