Hi everyone, I really don’t like making these posts because I know other people have their own issues, but I’m asking for help.
I’ve been out of a job for 5 months now and have been struggling to find any work, from the Wal-Mart to the McDonalds in my town, and all the jobs I can find online, I have applied everywhere, multiple times and have received only 2 interviews that both led nowhere.
My Employment Insurance ended, (fighting them about it because it’s supposed to last me a year) and I am trying to get any other financial aid I can, but am limited, and with how bad of a state Canada is already in financially, and all the other applicants in front of me for other aid, I’m stuck waiting to hear anything back.
I’m a month late on rent. I can’t afford my phone bill as of two months ago and have been cut off. I have exhausted my family of help. I am stuck.
I’m asking for anybody to please share my profiles or portfolio with anyone they may know that is hiring, if needed I’d be more than happy to provide my resume to absolutely anyone if it means a shot at employment again.
I’m in Canada, and can work remotely. I can and will work any hours at any time doing anything. I am desperate.
Thank you for taking the time to read this.

Every time I see someone post “AI art can’t be copyrighted” I know they haven’t actually read a single ruling.
The U.S. Copyright Office has been granting copyright registrations for AI-assisted artwork. They did it for a comic book. They did it for an image of a piece of cheese. Harvard Law wrote about it.
What can’t be copyrighted is if you let an AI run completely autonomously with zero human creative input and then try to list the AI as the author.
That’s what the Thaler case was about. The guy literally listed his AI as the sole creator and said he did nothing.
A monkey once took a selfie and a court ruled it couldn’t be copyrighted because there was no human author.
Nobody walked away from that case thinking cameras can’t produce copyrighted photos. But that’s exactly the logic people are using with the Thaler ruling.
The Copyright Office’s own 2025 report says AI-assisted works qualify for copyright when the human provides substantial creative input. Selection, arrangement, editing, composition.
You know, like what every filmmaker, graphic designer, and digital artist using AI tools is actually doing.
But keep posting the misinformation. It makes it easier for the people actually building things to operate while you argue about stuff you didn’t read.

"Pick your brain" is the most expensive free thing in this industry.
I've met hundreds of people in AI.
I can count on two hands the ones who actually helped me or paid me.
The rest?
"Hey, do you have 30 minutes?"
Thirty minutes becomes an hour. The questions get surgical. You're consulting. For free. Because they called it a conversation.
Then a few months later you see your workflow in their content. Your process in their course. Your positioning in their pitch deck.
Not credited. Just absorbed.
The people who actually invested in me…with money, a real introduction, a door opened … I remember every single one.
Because they are rare enough I can count them on two hands.

Stupidest law ever. So, if you use any other kind of tech/vfx like 3d you don't have to say anything, but if you use AI you do.. WTF? 🤣🤣🤣
And what about it's 98% filmed and then 2% AI for some VFX?
Stop trying to put gates on an open field. Only shows how idiotic you are.

Netflix has acquired interpositive, a start-up founded by Ben Affleck that makes AI-powered tools for filmmakers. • The system builds AI models from a film’s dailies to assist with postproduction tasks like color, relighting and VFX while keeping filmmakers “at the center of the process.” • Bela Bajaria, Netflix’s CCO, says the tech will provide creatives “more choices, more control and more protection for their vision.” wp.me/pc8uak-1lGYPw

@Pizza_Later I think Vadoo has Seedance 2.0- not sure how well it runs as I haven’t tried it there myself yet.
I know Dreamina CPP members have access- and some CapCut CPP members as well.
