On the 17th of May 2026, I contacted SwiftCargo logistics in the UK to pick up my luggage and deliver to Nigeria for me, there were 4 bags to be delivered in total. Swift Cargo Logistics initiated a pick up through @ParcelHero and @UPS picked up my bags the following day. Thread

@mariamkolawole8 @ParcelHero @ParcelHero lost two of my big bags!!! I have sent a claim and they have refused to pay me, giving all sorts of excuses! This is a fraudulent act and I can really not help but say that they stole my bags because of the content, they have refused to pay me my claim!!!

@ParcelHero lost my shipment, rejected my claim because I provided a Vinted invoice,and refunded only my shipping fee. Second-hand buyers don’t usually have original receipts. Your negligence caused this loss. You should pay me for the value of my lost item. #ConsumerRights

At this point, it’s obvious that @ParcelHero and @UPS literally chose to intimidate and frustrate me after misplacing two of my big bags in the UK. Please @UPS and @ParcelHero I need my bags!!! If you can’t provide my bags, pay the claim!!! That’s the standard!!!

@ParcelHero sent an email to tell me that the case has been closed!!! SwiftCargo even intervened and asked my claim to be processed and sent to me but they said SwiftCargo should go and buy things as replacement and send invoice to them so they can reimburse a maximum of £50!!!

I did all that explanation and @ParcelHero asked for the proof of payment of shipping. I forwarded that, only for them to close the case just like that!!! After I provided everything they’ve asked to process the claim, No reasons, nothing!!! They have just refused to pay!! Thread

Now see the whole essence of these posts, this is where the magic started happening😂. @ParcelHero sent an email to me that their direct customer is SwiftCargo and that the whole receipts I sent for the items in ‘my’ bags should have been in SwiftCargo’s name not mine🤯🤯 Thread

My claim form and receipts I sent were acknowledged by @ParcelHero claim team and they said they’ll reach out to me within 28days to sort everything out. I’m adding this to the thread so they don’t say I didn’t send anything. Thread.

I had conversations with myself over this whole matter then I went ahead to fill the claim form. I filed an £8,650 claim as opposed the £15,000 I mentioned earlier because I couldn’t provide all receipts of everything I have packed in those bags as most were not found. Thread

@ParcelHero finally responded and said they will do everything to find my bags, only to get another email few days later that the bags have been deemed to be missing in transit by @UPS and that I should fill a claim form and return within 14days. At this point I lost it Thread

@parcelhero sent emails that I should raise a claim in order to get cash back for my bags that got lost, these bags are over 25kg each. We kept calling and asking for the warehouse address so we can go pick them up but @UPS and @ParcelHero refused to say anything still Thread

Days went by and I kept on sending reminder emails for them to find my 2 bags because there are vital and irreplaceable items in them, they kept mute. I also asked SwiftCargo to email them since they’re the direct customers and they initiated pickup on my behalf. Thread

The days kept on going by with same response from these organizations. At this time, I left the UK to Nigeria and kept my fingers crossed hoping for my bags to arrive also. @ParcelHero asked for bag descriptions in order to start an investigation and this was provided. Thread

We waited for a few days until I asked SwiftCargo to send a reminder about my two remaining luggage wasn’t delivered to them. They sent a reminder email to both @UPS and @ParcelHero only for them to respond that they don’t know the whereabouts of the two remaining luggage. Thread
