Spirit Airlines died tonight at the hands of the socialist crusader, Elizabeth Warren She must be so proud to add another casket to her achievements. Tonight at 3am, Spirit turns off the lights. 14,000 jobs gone. 30+ smaller airports lose service. JetBlue offered $3.8 BILLION in cash to buy Spirit in 2022. Shareholders, flight attendants union, literally everyone voted yes. The combined company would have held 9% of the US market against a Big 4 that already owned 80%. For anyone who understands numbers: 9% isn’t a monopoly against 80%. Warren said no. She wrote letters. She pressured Buttigieg. Biden’s DOJ sued. A federal judge killed the deal in January 2024. Her argument: the merger would cost consumers $1 billion a year. Now look at her collateral damage she dusts under the rug. 510 pilots gone in the months after. 1,800 flight attendants furloughed in December. 14,000 jobs in 2023. 7,500 last week. Zero tonight. And that’s just the people in Spirit uniforms. Catering goes. Fuel guys go. Baggage crews, gate agents, airport coffee shops, hotels and rental cars in 70 cities Spirit flew to. Every airline job carries 3 more on its back. 40,000 people out of work because of one woman’s moronic crusade against the market. And the math ain’t mathing. Spirit abandoned 90 routes during the death spiral. Fares on those routes are up 14% on average. Oakland to Newark: $135 to $288. Fort Myers to San Juan: $92 to $219. Kansas City to Newark up 66%. That’s reality. Not some BS number from a “study.” So @SenWarren tell me how this saves the consumer money? Cheap carriers in a market drop fares 21% across the board. Southwest did this in the 90s and saved Americans $68 BILLION over 20 years. Warren killed it. That’s what moronic politicians led by socialism do. Then with her own blind arrogance, she tweeted Spirit’s collapse is “a Biden win for flyers.” A win. 14,000 people are reading termination letters tonight. And she’s taking credit. This is socialism in 2026. A senator who’s never made payroll thinks she knows how to run a market better than the people who own and work in the company. She saved you a billion on imaginary paper. She cost you ten times that in real life. She didn’t protect consumers from anything. 14,000+ will go from working to welfare. She will make sure to blame billionaires, hardworking tax payers, AI, capitalism and whatever monster they will make up tomorrow hiding under your bed. Higher taxes. Fewer jobs. More expensive everything. She called it a win. I hope you enjoy winning.

This war and the war in the Middle East need to end. Our military is exquisite but we cannot afford these endless wars. We simply cannot afford them any longer. It doesn’t mean that we give up our peace through strength doctrine, it simply is a reflection of the reality we face, the sentiment of the majority of the American people, and the exhaustion of our armed forces, never mind spending more and more of our national treasure. If we can figure out a win-win way to turn them over to those nations and/or regions most impacted or if we can get the warring parties to agree to a long term peace, I’m all for it. Pray 🙏🏼 for America 🇺🇸 and our @POTUS and those around him making these difficult decisions.

Save America Bill....I think it is time to start realizing the obvious, The Dems have something on John Thune that they must be black mailing with. How else do you explain his lack of interest in getting it passed and into law. Maybe even a few other Republican Senators as well, that is how business is done in Washington. So, the rest of the Senate needs to remove him as the leader, expose the others that won't commit and let their voters know who they are so they can demand they vote yes on it. March 21: Trump said he'd "obliterate" Iran's power plants if they didn't open the Strait within 48 hours (they didn't, so he extended it by 5 days).
March 28: Trump again extended the deadline by 10 days, claiming Iran asked (they didn't). He said he'd obliterate their civilization if there was no deal (there wasn't).
April 6: Trump extended the deadline by 2 weeks, threatening destruction if the Strait wasn't opened during that period (it wasn't).
April 21: Trump extended the deadline indefinitely even though Iran refused to negotiate, claiming he did so because Pakistan asked.
April 22: Trump's claim that the US has a full blockade of Iranian oil in the Strait is negated by this report that at least 34 Iranian tankers have passed through.
But the US is winning and Iran is on its knees begging to capitulate fully.

The IDF has been attacking and blowing up churches and other Christian iconography in Gaza, the West Bank and Lebanon for a long time. There are videos of Israelis abusing and even spitting on Christians in Israel. The idea that this is some weird aberration is absurd.

Is there a single person who believes that absent the photo -- had Lebanese villagers denounced the IDF for destroying a Jesus statue but had no photographic proof -- that Israel would have ever admitted this happened, let alone pretended to find the behavior so deeply wrong?

The soldier that damaged a Christian statue in Debel, southern Lebanon, the other soldier that filmed it, as well as the six others present, did not intervene or report are facing consequences. The conduct was deemed a serious violation of IDF orders and values. Northern Command is assisting the village in replacing the statue. The soldier who vandalized the statue and the one who filmed it were removed from combat duty and given 30 days’ confinement. Other soldiers involved will face further disciplinary review.

The U.S. government has to refund $166 billion in tariffs, PLUS interests.
Trump said he would be paying Americans checks from tariffs and eventually even replace the income tax.
So now not only are you not getting DOGE checks after he cancelled DOGE, you’re not getting tariff checks and paying the interests back on tariffs collected.
And you are also paying $2 billion a day for Trump and Netanyahu’s war in Iran.
And you are paying on avg $4 per gallon gas and inflation is rising again.
The lack of humility and understanding the struggle of regular Americans is astounding to me.

Worth adding that Russia did as a matter of fact intervene for Trump in 2016 and that the evidence is widely known, abundant, and collected in various forms, including a Senate investigation, the Mueller report, multiple intelligence investigations, multiple reportorial investigations in the US and elsewhere, and multiple books. Leaving out that crucial fact allows the reader to miss the way this echoes prior authoritarian "investigate the investigator" moves as well as the fundamentally Orwellian character of this.
