There's a very disturbing story which was aired yesterday. Her name is Irene Kawira. Irene is stuck in India where she is detained together with her son in a hospital over a Ksh 1.3M hospital bill. Irene says that the hospital has stopped giving her meals and even water. She has been given up to 15th May 2026 to clear the bill. What happens after that, is another story.
