Movies are not merely entertainment; they can also serve as powerful tools of indoctrination. I recently saw a clip from a film in which a white man, in a Western country, takes the law into his own hands by murdering a young Muslim man, his family, and his friends after the young man and his friends raped a white girl. A few things stood out to me, and I find them deeply concerning: - The Muslim family blamed the victim for being raped and showed no remorse. This is completely contrary to Islamic teachings. The shooter tells the father, “You rejected democracy and put your religion above the law,” implying that Islam itself is responsible for the crime. - The killer also says that “the ones who migrated are the bad ones,” broadly portraying Muslims living in the West as a dangerous group that needs to be “dealt with.” Such sweeping generalizations only deepen division and fuel hostility toward ordinary Muslims who are law-abiding members of society. If a handful of individuals commit crimes, they should be held accountable as individuals; not as representatives of an entire religion or community, just as we would when the perpetrator is a Christian, a Jew, an atheist, or anyone else. - The victim’s sister posts on social media that the girl “deserved it,” portraying Muslim women as people who lack basic morality and condone rape. The film depicts vigilantism against Muslims, with the killer taking justice into his own hands instead of leaving the matter to the legal system. - The father says, “I raised my children on the values of the Qur’an,” clearly implying that the Qur’an teaches Muslims to rape or abuse non-Muslim women. That is an outright falsehood. - Whether intentional or not, these portrayals reinforce some of the most malicious stereotypes about Muslims and Islam. They do not simply depict criminals committing evil acts; they attribute those acts to the religion itself. - I actually think the movie serves as a good exposure of what many Muslims have been warning about for years. Whether deliberate or subconscious, it reflects narratives that portray Islam itself as the source of evil, paint Muslims collectively as a threat, and normalize suspicion and hostility toward an entire community because of the crimes of a few individuals. Now, who is really promoting hatred? Who is normalizing collective blame? You tell me.

“Lamine Yamal is still only 18 but he is no longer the same bright-eyed boy who lit up the 2024 Euros,” writes @SamJDean. “In the two years since, that boyish charm has been replaced by a strong-voiced, politically aware, heavily commercialised and occasionally controversial man.” Read more ⬇️ telegraph.co.uk/football/2026/…

no billionaire or politician forces their kid into JEE/NEET hell. it's a middle-class jb. rich kids study liberal arts, build networks & ownership. we chase 'safe' degrees that pay like 2010 while competing with AI & 20L aspirants.
