@Discord_Lies My great-grandfather immigrated to America from pre-revolution Russia. He was a Volga German Starting in 1941 over 1 million Volga Germans who remained in Russia were put on train cars and sent to far away labor camps to be worked to death. They were not "A talking point."

Worth noting that antisemites keep winning Democrat primaries and losing Republican ones.

Remember all that time and money you spent optimizing your site for Google, just so they could rake all your info to feed their AI? Well, now that AI will take priority over your website. And Google never even said "thank you." Sucker.

Why does @HomeDepot use @OnTrac_Shipping for deliveries? They lie about delivery dates, they lie about packages being delivered. When I see that an order is being shipped via OnTrac, I just assume that it is going to arrive two or three days later than they state on their website. They are so unbelievably slow and bad that whenever a company I deal with uses them I almost always stop ordering things from that company. I am currently waiting for a package from Home Depot that both the Home Depot site and the OnTrac site say will be delivered today, but the OnTrac site also says that they haven't yet received the item from the shipper. That shipper is 750 miles from my home. It'scurrently 9pm. I really doubt that the package will arrive today. If things go as they usually do with OnTrac, tomorrow I will check their website and it will still say that the package is scheduled to arrive on the 19th. Then it might say that someone attempted delivery (but my doorbell camera will say otherwise). Then, in two or three more days, perhaps I'll get my package, and perhaps not. Perhaps never.

🚨 Do you understand what quietly happened in Kentucky tonight.. Mitch McConnell spent 41 years building the most powerful Republican machine in the Senate.. he blocked nominees.. killed legislation.. outlasted six presidents.. and bent the entire GOP caucus to his will for four decades.. and the moment he stepped back.. Trump walked in on May 1st.. endorsed Andy Barr.. offered the only real rival an ambassadorship.. and the rival dropped out the same week.. > Cameron — the man who was supposed to carry McConnell's network forward — entered with a polling lead.. raised money.. had the name recognition.. had the Christian conservative base.. > Barr had none of that early.. until Trump made one phone call and one diplomatic offer.. > Cameron finished at 30%.. Barr won with 60%.. > the seat McConnell held since 1984 flipped to a Trump loyalist in a single primary night.. > the first open Kentucky Senate seat in 42 years.. decided by an endorsement and an ambassadorship.. every single establishment figure watching this tonight told their donors "the McConnell network is durable".. every single one assumed the old machine had enough infrastructure to survive his retirement.. it didn't survive a single election cycle.. not a scandal.. not a Democrat.. not a generational shift.. one endorsement.. one ambassadorship offer.. and 41 years of political infrastructure collapsed in an evening.. the quiet part nobody is saying out loud.. Trump didn't just win a primary tonight.. he erased the last internal friction point inside the Senate Republican caucus without a single floor vote.. it's only getting quieter from here.. I'll keep you updated. Turn on notifications. 🚨

My grandfather ate crow when he was young, because that's the food they could get. When he was a kid he wound up with a gash on his leg, Great-grandpa boiled his urine and poured it on the wound to prevent infection. My mom went to school in dresses Grandma sewed out of feed bags. My dad's side of the family were German immigrants and discriminated against during both world wars. When I was a kid we almost never ate out. Going to a movie was piling into the back of the starion waggon and going to the drive-in. And it was a rare treat. We didn't have color TV until I was 10. We didn't have a dishwasher until I was a teen. We had one car. Mom made everything from scratch. We brown-bagged lunch. Both violent crime and property crime were worse when I was a kid than they are now. We had race riots, leftist bombings, horrible pollution and bell-bottoms. I have no idea where young people are getting the idea that everything was materially better "back in the day."

@kane It turns out that all this time Democrats have been calling us "Nazis," they meant it as a compliment. Who knew?

@yagrigull69 @MaryTracy You're a 54 year old man who spends most of his time on X posting high-school level snarky replies to people. Your profile pic is from an edgy cartoon that also appeals to high-schoolers. You are (oh, Lord I sure hope) not the norm.

@uberminch @MaryTracy The funny part is that she's right. 54 year old man here who pulled himself up by his bootstraps from abject poverty and I'm absolutely calling bullshit on this whole fake ass lunchgate movement. No 52 yo men are making their own sandwiches, unless they're gay losers.
