As a beginner in cybersecurity Don't spend 80% of your time studying theory and 20% on practical skills. See, this industry requires the opposite. Nobody in a SOC is asking you to define a protocol or what port 25 is used for. They are asking you to tell them what happened on the network at 2AM. Flip the ratio. 80% hands on. 20% theory That's what gets you hired
