I want to write a history of the wall. The vatican's wall. That would be fun.

@m0w4q45 Well, you'll probably get to figure out how to defend it once again since you couldn't even deploy a singular destroyer.

To the MAGA lot, let’s get the Falklands straight. Britain didn’t invade anything. A failing Argentine regime did in 1982 to distract from chaos at home. The Falklands were British. The people there are British. The UK did what any strong nation would do, we defended our people and took back our territory. You can't say the same about your ill advised war in Iran!

This is all deflection. He has no idea how to reopen the Strait so he’s trying to blame Europe for not doing its bit. If he knows that that’s what he’s doing then the damage to transatlantic relations should be limited. However, if he actually convinces himself of it, it’s a different matter.

Yes, and we Europeans will remember the US betrayal. We will remember your blackmail. We will remember your threats. We will remember your malice. We are Europeans, and we will never forget those who try, now or in the future, to harm Europe or the European people. 🇪🇺

@HereditRebellio @KazePNW I can’t prove it but that has been my running theory is the pump says “up to 10% ethanol content” but who’s to say they started at 1% and slowly added more and more. Or, who controls the content and do they care. Or are they flat out lying as most gov agencies do on a daily basis

@HereditRebellio @OzMoshi @FrenlyOfficer What pisses me off is when one cannot find an American b/c they have been priced out. I was in need help with some significant tree removal, & it took me 18 months to find a guy. The guy who I hired had to do it on the side as he worked for the electrical co-op doing the same.

Story Time: invaders are taking our jobs and boomers are to blame So I applied to a local plant nursery/landscape supply business because I successfully put my wife through college, paid all the bills for the last 6 years and just wanted to have a chill job working with plants for a while instead of contracting. Horticulture and farming is something I have extensive knowledge in terms of micro-biology and amature sciences and not to mention I grow over 1,000lbs of food per year in raised beds that don’t surpass 650SqF so - I can very comfortably say I am absolutely qualified, even over qualified, for the position I was aiming for. Again, I just wanted a chill job where I can still work hard. Gave this local company (it’s a big company probably about 100 employees) a resume on top of filling out an application because who gives an extensive resume proving their knowledge and experience to a nursery? That would absolutely make sure I get this job right? - I mean the head manager (boomer) insured me she needed to hire another several people and specifically needed help on the green house. I even agreed to quite the mediocre starting pay because hell I just wanted to work with plants. Called or checked in physically twice per week for 3 weeks about obtaining a position in their green house/nursery area only to be told “We filled all the positions, sorry we didn’t hire you” “No big deal” I said to her even though I found it strange that they wouldn’t hire someone like me. Not trying to placate myself as this great figure but why wouldn’t you hire someone with experience in micro biological green house operations who even agreed to a shitty starting pay? Swung by today to see that every position was filled by a non-White or an invader. Decided to test a few of them and asked questions about gardening/growing food and none of them knew anything about growing plants. None of them even knew how to grow chives.. Which is a weed 🤦🏻‍♂️ So yeah, next time anyone tells you that “Americans don’t want to work these jobs” Get angry and tell them otherwise because boomers aren’t hiring the Americans who DO WANT to work these jobs Lastly - Fuck Boomers

Denmark and allies were flying in blood products and preparing for blowing up the airstrips as Trump threatened Greenland in January. Surprising no-one the 'exercise' Arctic Endurance was in fact an active operation, planned since 2025 with France, Germany and Nordics (+UK?).

If you see Project Hail Mary this weekend, I hope you'll remember how I told you over 3 years ago that stuff like this was going to explode in pop culture. -From ironic cynicism to post-ironic sincerity. -Embracing the "cringe" & the celebration of the earnest "try-hard." -From deconstructing the past, to a nostalgia for some positive "vibe" we lost in the deconstruction. -The rejection of Fight Club-era nihilism. -The ability to stare at the apocalypse in front of you and be hopeful instead of a "doomer."

@SteveSkojec This reminds me of the Pope Kissing the Koran. I am MUCH more disturbed by the fact he allowed this sacralige to occur AT ALL. Explanation was offered that he thought he was kissing a gift of the book of Gospels. Believable? Who knows, but I would give benefit of doubt to that

If you're serving as a priest or missionary in a foreign country, and they're doing a thing, and they tell you it's a local custom or whatever, are you necessarily going to know what you're participating in? I've done foreign missionary work. I can easily see how that could happen. And the fact that it COULD happen means the photo only tells you he was there, not what he knew before it was taken. I know why you're suspicious of the guy. I get it. I am too. He says some stuff I really don't like. But the Rash Judgment industry will destroy you if you let it. It's OK to not assume the worst, to not give in to the outrage, to just let it go and have a nice afternoon. I got out of this business for several reasons, one of which is that it does something very similar to you to what the One Ring did to Gollum. Not all at once, but definitely over time.

@uconsent @skateparken @auonsson Nah, understand just fine. You do realise that learning how to shoot and operate in firefights is standard practice for basically every major European military for every single role right? It's not special.
