Would be nice if Halo went back to its old style of logo and font it had.

Hard to remember when it wasn’t always super serious doom posting and infighting and data mining and rumors. I totally get it, especially when it always drives engagement, but yeah, I think we all long for when it was about having fun and shared enjoyment of a videogame. We’ll get back there 🙏

Halo. No one is ever happy about Halo, and thus it is one of the reasons why I don’t talk about the franchise as much as I used to despite it being one of my favorite games of all time. The handling of the series post Bungie has been less than ideal and you can’t blame people for being unhappy, but what is the answer going forward if we have no control over the future of the franchise? One of the primary joys of being a fan was connecting with others who also loved Halo, but when the majority of the conversations center around what’s wrong with it, it makes it very difficult to want to stick around. I found a lot of joy in the games, books, marketing campaigns and expanded media that released under 343’s tenure, even if the Bungie days remain unmatched. I’d like to continue experiencing that joy with whatever comes next, I just wish others were too.
