Feels unfair to say this, since Clemson has done most of what has been asked of them and is 19-4. But if there is an early contender for the Louisville treatment this year (Committee seeding well below where most thought they'd be) the Tigers are a prime candidate. As it stands now, there's a marked lack of high-end quality in the results column, similar to Louisville last year. Clemson has just three wins v the projected field (Georgia, Miami FL, SMU) all of whom are in the 8/9 range or lower, and two of those were at Littlejohn. If the Tigers were to go 0-2 in Durham and Chapel Hill, truly think this could be a surprise underseeded team come Selection Sunday.

Maybe it’s just me but this Louisville football schedule is an absolute breeze. The ACC teams they’re facing were a combined 59-54 last season. You don’t have to play Virginia, Miami, the Cal QB, “bye” is in a good spot, a gimme between Ole Miss/SMU.
