I am not interested in muslim individuals or groups whose obsession is to spread takfir allegation to as many muslim as possible. This is not the way of da’wa going forward. The only reasonable way for the future is to develop an all-embracing inclusive theology.

All the way back in 1959, Walid Khalidi, for example, had debunked in print and in English the Israeli lie that Palestinian refugees fled because Arab radio channels commanded them to do so.

Israel has been viciously raping and sexually abusing Palestinians since its foundation This is from Alfred Lilienthal's 1978 "The Zionist Connection," citing reports on Israel's torture of Rasmea Odeh (After moving to the US in 1994, Rasmea became a community leader in Chicago and counseled other survivors. I got to meet her in the years while she was hounded by the FBI, which was obviously being weaponized by Israel, and was impressed by her indomitable spirit. She was jailed again in 2013 until being deported to Jordan in 2017).

This is a hard article to read, but I hope you'll do so. I've spent some time reporting on widespread rape and other sexual violence of Palestinian male and female prisoners by Israeli authorities, and the article is now published. The assault victims were warned not to give speak of what they endured -- they were sometimes told they would be killed or raped if they gave interviews -- but they found the courage to do so. One man described being raped three times in a single day in Israeli prison, the third time after he tried to protest. A young woman said the guards would come in at the beginning of each shift and strip her naked and abuse her. Another reported that she was shown photos of herself being raped and warned they would be released unless she cooperated with Israeli intelligence. Even three children who had been detained told me they had been sexually abused. Look, whatever our position on the Middle East, we should be able to agree on being anti-rape. Sexual assaults were horrific when Israeli women were targeted on Oct. 7, and they're equally horrific when Israeli authorities use them against Palestinians day after day after day. We should be able to find common ground in opposing rape. Here's a gift link to the article: nytimes.com/2026/05/11/opi…

🚨 ITALY JUST SHUT DOWN FOR PALESTINE! 🇮🇹🇵🇸 Nationwide general strike in 75+ cities! Millions flood the streets of Milan, Naples, Florence & Turin. Country completely paralyzed for 24 hours transport, schools, ports, logistics ALL stopped. Port workers blocked arms shipments to Israel. Police fired tear gas in Milan after clashing with protesters near the central station. Why? Meloni refused to recognize Palestine → the people said NO MORE. Their demands: 1️⃣ Recognize the State of Palestine 2️⃣ Halt ALL arms sales to Israel 3️⃣ Sanctions on Netanyahu’s government 4️⃣ End the genocide in Gaza NOW

Dari kasus juri cerdas cermat itu kita belajar: meskipun bener, tapi kita bisa saja disalahkan. Seperti Gus Yaqut, lah. KPK sebut kerugian negara mencapai Rp622 M dari kuota 50:50 yang dibagi Gus Yaqut, padahal Bipih itu dana titipan jemaah bukan APBN (bukan kerugian negara beneran kata pakar UI). Malah BPK catat efisiensi Rp601 M + WTP berturut-turut. Hitungan potensial loss udah outdated pasca putusan MK. Aneh, memang. Tapi, kan, ini KPK. Orang yang merasa janggal dengan KPK langsung dicap mendukung koruptor~

Israel is using dogs to rape Palestinians. There are multiple testimonies about this crime. When I first reported on this obscenity, it triggered a firestorm. The New York Times has now, finally, reported on it - and Israel's systematic use of sexual violence.

I join Amnesty International in condemning #Eurovision and call everyone with a conscience not to watch it. BIG THANK YOU to the 5 countries who withdrew from the competition: Iceland! Ireland! Netherlands! Slovenia! Spain! Put Apartheid out of our lives.
Amnesty International@amnesty

Failure to suspend Israel from Eurovision, as it continues to commit genocide in Gaza, unlawful occupation and apartheid against Palestinians, is an act of cowardice and double standards. #HumanityMustWin Read more: amn.st/6016BBSR1u

Everything is a blood libel. The ICJ ruling, a libel. The ICC warrants, a libel. The UN reports, libel. Amnesty, HRW, B'Tselem, libel. Survivors' testimony, libel. Your own soldiers charged at Sde Teiman, a libel. Chants at protests, libel. The only entity on Earth that never lies, apparently, is the one currently on trial for genocide.
Israel Foreign Ministry@IsraelMFA

Today, the @nytimes chose to publish one of the worst blood libels ever to appear in the modern press. In an unfathomable inversion of reality, and through an endless stream of baseless lies, propagandist Nicholas Kristof turns the victim into the accused. Israel - whose citizens were the victims of the most horrific sexual crimes committed by Hamas on October 7, and whose hostages were later subjected to further sexual abuse - is portrayed as the guilty party. This publication is no coincidence. It is part of a false and well-orchestrated anti-Israel campaign aimed at placing Israel on the UN Secretary-General’s blacklist. Israel will fight these lies with the truth - and the truth will prevail.

JUST STOP IT! Saudi Arabia has had enough of the violence. It told the US that it could not use its military base in the country for the armed naval escort through the Strait of Hormuz, it was revealed yesterday. Americans also couldn’t use Saudi Arabian airspace for the military operation, NBC reported, quoting officials involved in the discussion. This came as a shock. US military commanders realized they could not protect ships without Saudi co-operation. They broke the news to the White House that the US must—for the second time—cancel their pledge to escort ships through the channel. A call between US President Donald Trump and Saudi leader Mohammed bin Salman failed to resolve the matter, NBC said. It appears that the US can continue to use their main base in the country, the Prince Sultan Airfield, for general use, but not for operations that will trigger more fighting. To avoid humiliation, the Wednesday backdown on naval escorts was positioned, by Trump in a social media post, as a positive thing, a pro-active response to Pakistani and Chinese efforts to broker an end to the conflict. . COALITION FALLS APART Why are the Arabs angry? Countries sign up for the US security umbrella. But it DOESN'T WORK. And it’s not just the US and Saudi Arabia who have a splintering relationship. - There's a huge fall-out between Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, which will have major consequences. - The UAE has lost trust in OPEC, and has withdrawn from the oil club, after 60 years as a member. - Also, Saudi Arabia has long been using weapons on the group they call the Houthi in Yemen, while the UAE prefers the rebels to the Yemeni government. - Worst of all, it’s becoming obvious that the Gulf states have been far more badly hit than revealed. Many of them informed the public and press that NO reports about successful missile strikes were allowed to be printed or shared in any form. If any damage was seen, it had to be described as minor effects from shrapnel caused by successful missile interceptions. Many people have been jailed for simply photographing the smoke that comes from explosions. The same under-reporting will also be true of the US. Trump's Iran headache is not going away any time soon.
