65 Year Old Auto Driver Dies After Electric Scooter Explodes During Charging in Bengaluru Home Bengaluru A 65 year old auto driver lost his life in the early hours of Tuesday after his #ElectricScooter exploded while charging, sparking a massive fire at his residence in Murphy Town, #Bengaluru. According to DCP East Division, Bengaluru, Dr Vikram Amathe, the deceased has been identified as Lourd Nathan, who was asleep near his #Okinawa EV scooter on the ground floor when the incident occurred. According to the complaint filed by his son, Frank Anthony L (36), Nathan had plugged in the #EV scooter for charging around 11:00 pm on Monday. At approximately 3:00 am, the battery allegedly exploded , igniting a blaze that engulfed the ground floor of the house. Frank, who was asleep on the first floor, rushed downstairs upon hearing the explosion and found his father critically injured. Nathan was immediately taken to Bowring Hospital, but doctors declared him dead on arrival. A case has been registered under UDR, Section 194 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023. Police are probing the cause of the battery failure and whether technical negligence was involved. @DcpEastBcp @BlrCityPolice @KarnatakaCops

PhysicsWallah founder Alakh Pandey is now even richer than Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan. In 2014, 23-year-old Alakh Pandey taught physics to 10-15 students in a small rented room in Prayagraj for ₹50 per hour. He borrowed ₹5,000 from his mother to buy a second-hand phone so he could make videos. After being rejected by all the major coaching institutes, he started the “PhysicsWallah” channel on YouTube in 2016, with no big budget, just a ₹300 tripod, a ₹200 microphone, and a passion for teaching. Today, 9 years later, his channel has reached over 15 million subscribers. His app educates 4 million paid students for ₹3,500 annually. Alakh rejected several offers of ₹1,000 Crore to keep PhysicsWallah independent. Today, the company is valued at $2.8 billion (approximately ₹23,000 crore). According to the Hurun India Rich List 2025, Alakh Pandey's net worth is ₹14,510 crore, higher than Shah Rukh Khan's ₹12,490 crore. This story proves that when a middle-class teacher dreams not of Money, but of changing the future of children, destiny bestows upon him both wealth and respect.

Growing up in the 90s, Agarkar was the guy I dreaded. In any 250 chase, if Srinath or Kumble had bowled us back into the game, along would come Ajit the loin in the 42nd over for his third spell, spraying it on both sides of the wicket. Cricinfo would just type FOUR one after another, and I would have stayed up all night only to have my heart broken in the wee hours of the morning. The perfect vacuum of hope, together with trigonometry and Irodov and Bengali grammar—-that was Ajit Agarkar. It was said Agarkar, unlike other Indian pacers, never dropped his pace, which just meant that the rate at which the target was whittled down by the opposition was that much faster. Full toss, short ball, width: he gave batsmen whatever they wanted. The socialist welfare state at the bowling crease. Agarkar would get dropped, of course, and then come back to the side, thanks to the lobby, checking out any time he liked but never leaving. Yes he won India a test once, but even a broken clock is right twice a day and Agarkar got it right once. And now years later, the Kumar Gaurav of cricket is back again, destroying all hope as he did with unfailing regularity once upon a time. Maybe we will win the World Cup. Maybe this is the second time he is right. I won’t be holding my breath.

@GurugramDeals @Arsenite49 2 years is good enough time to decide what you have experienced in your IT career so far & how you want your life & career going forward. Burn out is not good, inspite of working in a big company. You/someone close may need to talk to him to empathise and understand his view

@Arsenite49 No, but intial break into such a company is a great learning opportunity, one can't claim burn out after just 2 years in?

My nephew got hired by one of the Big 4 consulting firms right after college (this was 2 years back). The entire family was ecstatic and so was he at the time. Yesterday he came over and broke the news that's he's quitting. Apparently, he's 'burn out' and want to take a break before he explored the career he really wants to pursue. This generation is something else.

How would you feel if you lost 55% of your wealth overnight? (for no fault of your own?) This recently happened in Egypt, where people were saving in Egyptian Pound. - On 4th March 2024: 1 USD to Egyptian Pound= 31 - On 6th March 2024: 1 USD to Egyptian Pound= 49 Reasons: 1) Poor economic management & excess debt 2) Unproductive use of public money 3) Deep rooted corruption The common people suffered. Sad thing is: the Egyptian President (Abdel Fattah al-Sisi) took his 3rd term in office recently. He restructured these loans -- and kaboom, the currency fell by 55%. Some of his other highlights: "El-Sisi came to power after the 2013 overthrow of the country’s first popularly elected president, Mohamed Morsi. He was re-elected in 2018. In both previous elections, he won with 97 percent of the vote. He extended the presidential mandate from four to six years and amended the constitution to raise the limit on consecutive terms in office from two to three" Point is: Poor economics. And, good politics rarely go hand-in-hand.

First hour predictions: Pragg has a nice position vs Alireza. Going to predict a Pragg win. Gukesh has got a nice position and time advantage. Draw. Hikaru-Fabi draw and Nepo-Abasov could also be Abasov’s first draw as Black. His position seems fine. So Pragg win, 3 draws.
