If rest of the world is pissed at us because we're starting illegal wars or funding Israel's genocide, I get it. But when it comes to World Cup, I'm unapologetically for Team America. This is a country where a Turk and an Armenian can come together and fight against a genocide. This is a country where we can put old, ethnic grievances aside and work together. This is a country where the citizens expect and demand freedom. It's a gorgeous country with good, decent people. We have a plenty of faults, but this is still a place of hope and opportunity. I believe in America. And I will always root for it. So, during the World Cup, here's what I have to say to the rest of the world - USA, USA, USA!!!

All of us Americans and those who believe in fair play applaud President Trump for standing up for the USA. If the President can’t defend us against blatant unfairness, who can? The red card call against Folarin Balogun during the last US World Cup game was demonstrably incorrect. The contact was not obviously intentional because both players were going for the ball. The referee calling it has been under recent and serious investigation for suspicious red card calls. And this call could have cost the US their place in the tournament, leaving a strong odor of favoritism, and worse, corruption.

Here's what I'm not interested in - Belgium crying they have to play us with a full roster. They really want to play us without one of our best players. Wow, what great sportsmanship. I get it if others are pissed, but Belgium thinking it's unfair to play our whole team is weak.
