Spark 上终于有个好玩的东西了:
Sparkpixels,一个 链上像素画 × sats 博弈 的小玩法。
这套机制不陌生
最早可以追溯到 2005 年的 The Million Dollar Homepage,
币圈里对应的是 2016 年的 Million Ether Homepage,

I was super fond of the million dollar page 20 years ago(!), and now someone built a @spark enabled version which put a smile on my face. Check it out, fun and interesting gamified incentive too sparkpixels.io

Businessman.eth is a cancerous tumor of the Bitcoin ecosystem.
I’ve been in this ecosystem for about two years and have seen a lot. I was never particularly fond of influencers because they were all blind believers — they never fudded obvious cashgrabs, they supported everything. It drove me crazy. Then I discovered businessman.eth, who was different: he knew how to call out bullshit. That caught my attention, and I began following him.
But what the bear market did to him is beyond explanation. A once reasonable critic has turned into a whining girl who tries to spoil everything everywhere, even where she’s not wanted. He fudded @FinePepes , @Motoswap and many other projects, even though they were decent and brought plenty of profit.
Moreover, he shilled absolute cashgrabs, which were not profitable at all.
SPARK revealed who businessman.eth really is. This person is doing everything possible to fud $soon with possible founders like @BitGod21 and @b4kenny, even though this token is a hundred times better than $UTXO, which was launched in the most ridiculous way and still gets zero attention. It was literally pumped with $10k two days ago. Just imagine, this guy say that utxo is better because soon dumped on 60% while utxo dumped on 80% and it will not comeback, while soon still number 1 runner of spark(i am sure it will come back to ath)
It’s astonishing how Bman wants to drag the entire remaining ecosystem with him into the abyss. Is his life really so bad that he can’t just earn money peacefully instead of behaving like an eight-year-old girl who isn’t invited anywhere?
This is a story about a guy, who was good critic but became shitty crybaby.

@davidmarcus @spark @lightspark As an expansion channel, you have indeed done a good job, but unfortunately, it is too late. Flashnet is dead and there is no ecology. How can we talk about development and progress?

Bitcoin DeFi and @spark — quick story time:
At @Lightspark we built Spark to fill the gaps that we determined couldn’t be filled by Lightning well. Ultra-cheap, easy, fast non-custodial Bitcoin and stablecoins support. In developing support for stables, the BTKN standard emerged. An easy way for anyone to issue any type of token on top of Bitcoin. Suddenly, without doing it by design, we opened the floodgates to Bitcoin DeFi, and it took us for a spin…
At first, a clever group figured out a way to create tokens and buy/sell them using a CLI(!), and we started seeing volumes blow up totally organically. It was wild to watch it happen with no tooling, no ecosystem. Just easy, fast, cheap Bitcoin + tokens.
And then came a series of humbling launch attempts by @Flashnet, the first AMM on Spark, and a number of launchpads, wallets, and marketplaces built on it like @luminexio, @utxofun, @SatsTerminal, @SatGoBTC, @xverse @bitbit_bot and so many more. Spark was still a baby protocol then, supporting mainstream Bitcoin payments very well for many wallets, but it wasn’t ready for the insane amount of volume that came through these platforms. We’re talking about thousands of requests per second, insanely high TPS requirements, and concurrency limits. In succession, these launches brought Spark to its knees a few times. The team instantly rose to the challenge. We’re talking about months of nights, weekends, burning the midnight oil to do work that typically happens on these kinds of networks over the course of a couple of years in a matter of a couple of months.
Eventually, we got it there, and so did all the Bitcoin DeFi builders on Spark that also had to size-up to meet the insane pent-up demand to trade on Bitcoin and tap into the largest pool of liquidity.
Finally, the day came this past Monday. And the insane volumes instantly came back. This time around, the network was ready and capable of dealing with that demand without breaking a sweat. It was a good moment for our mighty team that gave so much to meet this opportunity with ingenuity and hardcore work.
Every successful L1 or L2 had a trading use case prime the network for other use cases, including payments. Trading brings millions of wallets and users, an enthusiastic community of committed builders, deep liquidity, and more. We’re so excited and humbled by the energy, interest, and drive we’re seeing from the fast-growing community of Spark builders. What I’m seeing happen on this network every day blows my mind. The volume, the level of ingenuity, and what’s just around the corner that will take all of it to a whole different new level.
Permissionless building is the best kind. Build something useful, make it easy to build on, and then have incredible builder energy do the rest. We’re at less than 1% of the journey, and it’s already blowing my mind. Can’t wait to see where we take this together in the weeks and months to come. So much goodness ahead!

I know everyone’s asking wen @flashnet, so just sneaking out some alpha from internal slack chat: there are 51 remaining issues spread across 3 broad categories, so when all 3 classes of issues are resolved, we should be good to go!

Hi all, just wanted to let everyone know that today is my last day at @MEonBTC. I am honored to have helped launch and build atop the ordinals and runes marketplaces, and was truly a roller coaster ride with all of you in the BTC community. I apologize that I was ultimately unable to get Spark trading at Magic Eden launched, but rest assured that I am still 100% committed to the BTC ecosystem.
That is why I am proud to announce that after some time off to rest and recover I will be joining @ethannmarcus at @flashnet as head of engineering! I am in it for the long haul, and hope you all continue to follow me into the ultimate vision of BTC dominance in web3 and beyond :)
