Meh; this is just misleading for no reason. Double spending on Spark requires every operator to retain old keys and collude with the previous sender. If one operator deletes their key share, the transfer is irreversible. tldr; 1/n trust with perfect forward security. Ark transactions start as preconfirmations where a single operator can double-sign competing claims. tldr; 1/1 trust. Spark is structurally stronger during this phase. Ark's finality comes from a batch round that settles on L1 at an interval. The "real finality" comes from an L1 tx, which all users cumulatively pay for. It's just a different priority set, that's all.

Are you this is true? cc @spark @ethannmarcus @davidmarcus

@arkade_os @spark

A small group of people are building the tools that make Bitcoin do more than sit in a wallet. Proud of this circle. Congrats @ArkLabsHQ !

I know that getting as much Magic Eden off-chain data out before their shutdown is on everyone's top of mind, so I took the initiative to extract that data. Here I present the final data dump of all Magic Eden collection and attribute data: github.com/summraznboi/ma… Good luck!

Spark is a fantastic protocol with tremendous potential. It's interesting to see all of the developers and apps integrating it. So why hasn't @MannaBitcoin? Well, one of the tradeoffs with Spark is privacy. Spark Entities have visibility of ownership changes, involved addresses/UTXOs, and transfer requests. In short, at best, they are honeypots. They can be compromised or hacked, and your data can be leaked or sold. I do believe Spark privacy will improve. We just aren't ready to integrate to a protocol that isn't fully private.
