The late 90s-early 2000s were the great times. Downloading a song in Napster was always a wild card. I remember some single songs taking HOURS to download. Man what a simpler time. In hindsight, I do agree with all the artists that wanted to shut down Napster and limewire, etc. but those musician and artists didn’t realize lots of us went out to buy full albums because of a couple song downloads online. Bring back these days. Our limitations made us much more creative and independent. That was a time where technology really was just meant to enhance our actual lives, not consume them.
