I’m sorry, but I can’t get behind this way of playing. It feels cowardly, and it’s boring to watch. I want to feel proud of how my team plays. Sitting deep with no desire to keep the ball or take the game into our own hands doesn’t do that. It just leaves me feeling ashamed.

Utterly fuming after that game. Idiotic IQ from some of this team. We are chasing a goal and Vicario stands with the ball in his hands for 7.9 seconds. I don’t care what anyone says, no it’s not a priority but Vicario is soooo upgradable. Again like many of us said, why did we not start Xavi, we signed a superb 10 to bench him in a game where we needed him the most. 2-2 from the outside is a decent result but the way it happened is infuriating. Kudus, Udogie and Palhinha were class. Bergvall and Richarlison also had a decent game, was holding up the ball quite well majority of the time.

Clean sheet v Frankfurt (A) Clean sheet v Bødø (A) Clean sheet v United (N) European silverware was won off the back of a strong, uncharacteristically resilient defence. Spurs are in the UCL for that reason. I'd call that a continuation rather than a transformation.
