#OTD Ned Parfett, known as the young newspapers boy who announced the sinking of #Titanic outside Oceanic House, died on 29 October 1918 at the age of 22. He was killed by a German bomb (2 weeks before the end of WW2) near Valenciennes (Northern France), near the Belgian border.
