This is insane! How difficult is it for car companies to install a sensor that disables ADAS when no one is sitting in the driver’s seat? Just because every country is offering ADAS doesn’t mean we should blindly copy-paste it. This could end up causing more harm than good. Came to take delivery of a friend’s Škoda Kushaq. The dealership didn’t allow a pre-delivery inspection, saying Škoda doesn’t permit it. Now we’ve found visible issues like scratches, paint uniformity and faded door handles. They’ve taken the car for “cleaning” and have assured us they’ll replace the reported parts. But seriously, what’s with this no PDI allowed policy? You might not allow random people, sure, but at least third-party professionals like Cars24 or other reputed services should be fine. @SkodaIndia
