Day 9 of #COVID19 mapping. Visualization of March 24th data of confirmed cases in LA County. Pink circles are the confirmed cases, Brentwood has 31, Pacoima has 0. We know you can't confirm what you can't test. The darker the blue, the higher proportion of Latinos in that hood.

Am I missing something? Is there any reason why the Dodgers don't wear a red 42 on the front of their Jersey for Jackie Robinson day?

🚨💣 𝐄𝐗𝐂𝐋𝐔𝐒𝐈𝐕𝐄: At the moment, FIFA are growing increasingly concerned and are exploring new ways to sell the remaining tickets. FIFA launched its “last-minute” ticket sales phase on April 1, and nearly two weeks later, 26 out of the 72 group-stage matches still haven’t sold out. For example, the Jordan vs Algeria match in Houston still has plenty of tickets available, with prices around $400. The same situation applies to several other matches. Additionally, almost all hospitality packages remain unsold. These packages include premium benefits and access to all matches in a selected host city, with prices ranging from around $11,000 to $22,000 USD per person depending on the location and package.

Raúl Jiménez may be a better facilitator than he is a goal scorer, and that’s not a knock on his ability in front of goal. He’s a natural playmaker, ridiculous touch and vision.

@4thGenBruin I was at their home game against Michigan in 2000 and there was about 88,000 people there for a team that went 6-6 that season.

What the Rose Bowl looked like the last time UCLA Football was successful and had a team that fans could be proud of and felt attached to. This era saw 37 wins in 4 seasons. If UCLA hires the right coach, the Rose Bowl will go from being a ghost town to being busy again.

Those fans were American, they’re just not #USMNT fans—big difference. You can’t price out Mex fans, some of the best in the world, and you also have to give USMNT fans something to get excited about. Nobody is shelling out their hard-earned dollars to watch this hot mess.
Paul Kennedy@pkedit

Pochettino: "Football without fans is impossible." Hopes next time #USMNT will play with full stadium with American fans.

I want to tell you about my new favorite way to go to a Dodger game: the Dodger Stadium Express. You catch the DSE at historic Union Station: no parking hassles, no waiting outside the stadium (dedicated bus lanes!) and. . .it's FREE! Let's get into it. @metrolosangeles
