🧠 Mental health matters , and seeking support is a sign of strength, not weakness. There is no “serious enough” point you must reach before talking to someone. If your #mentalhealth is affecting your daily life, relationships, studies, or work, your feelings are valid and support matters. As we begin our #MentalHealth awareness month campaign under the #theme “More Good Days, Together”, let’s create spaces where conversations are safe, stigma is reduced, and no one feels alone. 💬 Signs it may be time to talk to someone: • Constant stress or sadness • Feeling overwhelmed most days • Changes in sleep or appetite • Loss of motivation or concentration • Withdrawing from others • Feeling emotionally exhausted You do not owe your story to anyone, but sharing when you are ready can open doors for others. @RwandaHealth @RBCRwanda @YouMatter_RW @JuruInitiative @HDIRwanda @SolidMinds @PIH_Rwanda @Imbuto @WHORwanda @MOH_Kenya @Mental360Kenya @BefriendersKE @StrongMinds @MentalHealthUG #MentalHealthAwarenessMonth #MoreGoodDaysTogether #MentalHealthMatters #EndTheStigma #URPHSA #MentalHealthAwareness

We easily spot physical injuries, but mental health struggles usually happen in complete silence. True awareness isn't just about acknowledging they exist, it demands active empathy, proper care, and breaking the stigma entirely. TUYIZERE Abel (SRHR Program Manager, URPHSA) reminds us, we have to look closer and support deeper. Your story is entirely yours, and you don’t owe it to anyone. But remember: choosing to share it when you are ready might just be the blueprint someone else needs to start their own healing journey. Let’s bring the unseen into the light. Through Imena Program @hezainitiatives with @unicefrw Rwanda, @RwandaLocalGov @RBCRwanda, @Rwanda_Child and other partners, we trained and built the capacity of 500 frontline workers across five districts. Today, these frontline workers can confidently deliver and share key messages on five important health and social protection behaviours in their communities. We guided them and provided them the education materials, teaching guides like the one-egg package and the Imena learning tool to support their work. Now, every frontline worker uses these tools to teach and explain clear, simple, and evidence-based messages to their people in villages. They are now helping communities to understand important health information better and make good choices for their wellbeing. The program showed that, working together can improve knowledge, strengthen confidence and bring positive change to people. We are proud to see frontline workers making a real difference every day. @shelly_bhai @LiekevandeWiel
