I built an ai system that makes apps while i sleep:
1/ built a clawdbot ai app building agent, it scans trending problems on tiktok and builds a project while i stay busy doomscrolling
2/ the trend scanning part, i set up a bot to watch tiktok for viral problems (1m+ views) cross-check with other videos to validate many people can relate and then check the app store to find ideas people want but nobody's built well yet. most people mess up here, they build what they like instead of what's blowing up
3/ it then starts coding a whole vibe coded app to solve the problem, super basic with easy guidelines for me to improve on after
4/ with that part done, it gives me all the related tiktok videos and provides me with a whole strategy for ugc and what videos i should tell my creators to make
5/ so the last step is for me to double check the app, get the ugc creators to make the videos and follow clawd's advice
literally taking all the difficulty out of app developing.
pipelines rlly went from 1 month > 1 week > overnight fully developed app

@QualityInvest5 problem is the scale and liquidity, once you account for shipping (2-way), duties & storage I'm not sure how much more you can outperform the S&P 500. Especially on larger scales of capital you need to either sell in bulk to other investors or manage to exit properly...

@VadimStrizheus 100% marketing, if you can get that first step out of the way you will get easy access to capital. and your product doesn't need to be cutting edge too many vibe coding tools exist for the coding part

don't stress if your saas doesn't work
you can always pivot to #buildinpublic and explain how you got to $150 and sold on @trustmrr 😂

the most useful x hack i just found
you can run superx on your own account to see what actually gets attention
> checks your top tweets by itself
> spots patterns in what goes viral
> shows you exactly which topics and styles stand out
> gives you a playbook that's actually based on your stuff, not random tips
> takes like 5 minutes to set up
then i just time block maybe 30 mins once a week to prep all my posts
set up the automation and everything runs by itself
no more daily posting stress or forgetting to tweet
everyone else is still just guessing what works while manually posting every day

this is why creator led branding is so important:
-->not only have Jake & Logan paul built multi million dollar brands on the back of their fame, they’ve also managed to raise $30m for a VC fund. that alone should make people stop and think.
-->i think a lot of people discredit influencer led brands because of their general lack of quality and the heavy focus on marketing rather than the product.
-->but increasingly i’m seeing businesses that actually provide real value propositions, strong CX, and are clearly positioned for the long term rather than the old influencer cash-grab playbook.
-->being an entrepreneur and partnering with an influencer/celebrity is kind of a dream scenario. you shortcut distribution, skip the painful early marketing phase, and start with instant attention and trust.
so if you’re launching a startup, don’t be afraid to give some equity to an influencer…
they can be worthwhile far beyond just marketing, from fundraising and credibility to long-term brand building.
those are things you simply can’t buy early on.

@EndrewBiz @matteo_spada totally agree, it's an amazing lever for conversion.
English

@matteo_spada a great onboarding process makes a product a great one
English

@mattwelter are they boosting those videos? Surely it can't be organic if the account average 500 views per post?

@JosephKChoi why’s the CPI lower in January if there’s more competition for self improvement targeted ads?

how i built puppy yoga to 400k ARR:
>pre sold all classes. ran ads and micro influencer ads 2 weeks in advance to pay for all operating costs
>brought in dog breeders as equity partners. eliminated the biggest cost and aligned their interests with mine
>reserved 2/3 tickets per session for micro influencers. this was basically free ads + able to target multiple groups
>hyper targetted niche high paying groups, older women 40-60. Generally are higher inclined to spend on experiences and activities than other groups + have the disposable income
>ran couples targeted ads. I noticed every session had couples so I ran couple based ad creatives and ugc to prompt them to book
>ran a corporate sales pipeline. Lots of companies love team building activities, this was one of the top activities for employee satisfaction.
>never rented a single studio, always reserved studios per hour and in different locations. saved capital on monthly rent and flexibility for customers
dm me if you want to launch one in your city. literally free business with high demand and no barriers to entry

short stories from businesses i’ve built (failed & successful):
inoa — ~$10k total revenue
built a cold brew brand at 18. didn’t understand distribution.
variable costs + marketing + distribution must be lower than wholesale price.
one bottle doesn’t make you money — repeat customers over months or years do.
lume jeans — ~$12k total revenue
built jeans for fun over 3 months. not passionate enough.
distribution worked, but marketing killed it.
constant content, heavy ads, influencers wearing your product.
high competition, low margins, low barriers to entry. cool project, not worth dropping out for.
do4me — $100 revenue (swiss task marketplace)
built an mvp and tested with users. early pmf signs.
vibe-coded the marketplace in 1 week. some jobs worked.
dropped it due to swiss regulations, scaling limits, and weak marketability.
interesting product, limited upside.
puppy yoga — ~$30k/month (cash cow)
by far the most fun business i ran. ~50% operating margins.
built with strong partners and a great distribution strategy.
ran it twice (2023–2024, then 2025).
92% sell-out rate, ~5x roas.
shut down due to spanish laws + partner issues (dog breeding side).
reopened after legal approval. massive proof that distribution beats everything.

what i learned from my multiple failed and successful startups:
>build something simple and get it in front of people asap. perfect features don’t matter early.
>you need real volume online. friends’ reposts won’t move the needle.
>don’t hire friends. hire people who are already better than you, or can grow fast and are highly motivated.
>reinvest profits and retarget aggressively.
>fix problems fast. pivot quickly. test everything. time and capital are limited.
>get user feedback from day one, not after you “perfect” the product.
>leverage your product. i got ~2m views for free with puppy yoga by giving micro-influencers tickets instead of paying 3 big ones.
>be creative. new leads come from experimenting across platforms, not copying what everyone else does.

@DudeWhoInvests same here, I just keep buying more but it's getting hard to hold...
