The lady my big brother wanted to marry told him just two weeks before their wedding that if he ever lost his job, she would leave the marriage.
My brother called off the wedding, but her family said she didn’t mean it and was just joking.
The funniest part is he refunded all his groomsmen the money they paid for wedding materials and told her to refund her aso ebi ladies too. The lady begged him, but he did not change his mind, and he said it was the best decision he has ever made.

Countless people praised by musicians in their songs have had bad fortune subsequently.
Some went broke to the extent of becoming taxi driver. Some went to jail. Some became wretched.
But I don't believe it is spiritual.

Just left my dad’s place, and he saw the video clip where Pasuma praised me — “Top Roofer 🇳🇬”. He advised me to be very careful with Nigerian musicians. He mentioned an experience from one of his friends back in the day who was also a musician. According to him, some musicians used to “influence” people spiritually or emotionally to make them spend money once their name is mentioned or when they perform at events. He even said that sometimes, if you hear they are playing at a party and you’re not there, you may feel unsettled until you show up and spend. Honestly, it sounded scary, but I told him I only need the sound and recognition for promoting my roofing business. He agreed, but still advised me to be cautious. Have you ever heard of anything like this before? 🤔

If you want to live a life that's aligned with who you genuinely are, stop "performing". Don't laugh at their stupid jokes. Don't respond just because they want you to. Don't lower your standards to fit in. Don't sacrifice your taste just because they don't have any. Don't do anything, anything... that makes you shrink yourself. That makes you dilute the very essence of who you already are. Let them do the work. Let them rise to your standards. Why not? They're not special. You are. You know who you are. It's your reality.
