Tony you will be worse than the people you're trying to vote for or vote against
All you want is to get in touch with our common wealth, you don't care about the country and how we can change the current situation
A big shame

I have stepped down my support for Atiku Abubakar for personal reasons , I still believe he has enough hands to continue to preach his message to Nigerians. However, Let it be on record that i have NEVER collected , requested or asked for a dime or $1 from either AA or anyone close to him . Same energy is what President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu would enjoy going forward.
Organic love and Support .
Signed:
Hon. Chief Ogbuagu Anthony

President Tinubu Directs Ex-Governor Ayade to Step Down from 2027 Senate Race
Former Governor of Cross River Senator Prof. Ben Ayade, has yielded to a directive from President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to withdraw his ambition for the Cross River North Senatorial District seat in the 2027 general elections.
In an emotional statement released on Monday, Ayade disclosed that he was recently invited to Abuja for a high-level national consultation with the Presidency. Following the meeting, it became evident that the President wanted him to shelve his senatorial bid.
“I yield to his request even as I pour tears of ill treatment and agony,” Ayade said.
Ayade Lists Contributions, Appeals for Review. The former governor, who served two terms as governor and was a senator before that, recounted his significant contributions to the growth of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the South-South region.
He noted that he was the first APC governor in the South-South and played a foundational role in building the party’s structure in Cross River State. During the 2023 presidential election, he delivered nearly 40,000 votes above the PDP’s performance in the state a historic feat.
Ayade also reminded President Tinubu of his early support, stating that he was the first APC governor to push for Tinubu to be given the right of first refusal as the party’s 2023 presidential candidate. He popularized the slogan: “If Tinubu Can Fix Lagos, Tinubu Can Fix Nigeria.”
Despite these efforts, Ayade said he has been sidelined for over three years without any federal appointment. He is, however, currently running a free transportation scheme as part of his campaign support for the President’s expected 2027 re-election bid.
He appealed to the President to revisit the order, arguing that his federal constituency has only enjoyed senatorial representation for eight years, while his main opponent has had 20 years. Granting the opponent another term, he said, would amount to a fourth term in the National Assembly.

@andremichaels_ @HarmlessHQ Most Nigerians didn't believe him not only politicians
It's rare for a politician without any structure to do what Obi in that space of time
Most Nigerians keyed into it as per last hope from the frustrating APC
Even now some empty heads are still believing he can't do nthg
English

@ustyn_1555 @HarmlessHQ You should say "most politicians" not most Nigerians

In 2023, the permutations were clear. The path to Aso Villa was in sight.
Obi had the numbers, the momentum and only needed a Northern edge to top Tinubu.
Kwankwaso was the perfect person to provide this edge. Complete the puzzle and take over in 2031.
But he was busy gambling with Tinubu thinking that Kano State would be his political property forever.
If Kwankwaso had deputised Obi in 2023, no INEC magic would have hijacked that victory.

@DrJoeAbah @TBlazejr @bubbekwears I don't even understand you Sir
You know court might frustrates you for 4 years for something that you need in at most a year
What exactly will i be doing in that time
I don't understand your question at all
English

@TBlazejr @bubbekwears Oh but you’ll be in court all the same. Nothing stop you from doing other things while you are in court.
English

I am completely naive about these matters, but why do people with large followings not form their own political parties modelled on their own ideology? | Kwankwaso, Obi obtain NDC membership cards – Daily Trust dailytrust.com/just-in-kwankw…
English

@DrJoeAbah @mic_belex The same court that will play hide and seek for months if not years before concluding?
Why do we always seem to not know what's the game plan are
Do you really think Obi likes this up and down movement, having to be begging established party members not to cause trouble?
English

@mic_belex Thanks. What reasons did INEC give IN WRITING for refusing to register the party? Was INEC’s decision challenged in court?

Peter Obi has been called names, threatened and even bullied, but he has never blocked anybody. Yet, you and your friends call him weak.

Anyways, when are you joining the NDC from the ADC?

@saleeenco Tinubu didn't pull 9m votes neither did atiku got 7m
English

Time shall tell, in 2023 Atiku Contest with an unpopular candidate as VP Okowa he pulled 7million votes, Kwankwaso 1.4million, Peter Obi 6million votes and the winner Tinubu 9million vote.
The prediction of 2027 will look like this
Atiku with Ameachi or Makinde 10million votes, Obi with Kwankwaso 7million vote, Tinubu 8million vote.
Atiku has the support of the coalition and majority of Nigerians that want to change the current Administration.
Atiku will emerge winner 🥇

@Are_dion @omo_baba_ibeji @Iam_Musteey It's not about BAT winning oh
If the person that will replace him will be worse than him then we may have been better not even touch BAT
I said some years ago that Buhari will fail and he surpassed my expectations on failing
I knew BAT was a calamity so nothing to say
Atiku ❌
English

@omo_baba_ibeji @ustyn_1555 @Iam_Musteey Nah him say let BAT win, I'm anything realistic to remove APC out, anyone who comes under my mention to say let BAT win, Nigeria has technically happened to that person. Let BAT win, you they threatened me or waiting. Let BAT win 2023 nah him we they now. They are not serious
English

Bro, I think you are miscalculating. If Atiku gets the ADC ticket, there’s no way Obi/Kwankwaso will come second position.
I can tell you for free, Peter Obi will not be able to recover his 2023 votes. The dynamics have changed. Many people who voted for Obi then in the SW, SS and NC will vote for Asiwaju come 2027
Atiku’s main focus should be on getting the required percentage in the southern states, I have no doubt he will do wonders in the north, especially the NW and NW.
But Yes, the split is favoring Tinubu
Premier@SodiqTade
Tinubu will win his reelection, Obi and Kwankwaso will most likely come second and ADC will come third. This might change. However, going by the 2023 results, Obi and Kwankwaso had a total of 7.5m votes. Not sure ADC can compete for now. Obi will make another statement in 2027.

I am not one to be deceived, nor do I suffer from selective amnesia. I recall vividly the events of July 2nd, 2025, at the Shehu Musa Yaradua Centre in Abuja, during the unveiling of the African Democratic Congress (ADC). The event proceeded seamlessly, with all invited dignitaries in attendance, including former Governor Peter Obi.
As proceedings progressed, the interim chairman at the time, Distinguished Senator David Mark, was invited to deliver his maiden address. Just before his remarks, ADC staff began distributing ADC-branded caps to dignitaries seated at the high table. It was at this precise moment and without any announcement or provocation that Peter Obi abruptly stood up and walked out of the hall where the event was happening. The timing was far too calculated to be coincidental.
Every other dignitary at the high table received an ADC branded cap and wore it proudly, except for Datti Ahmed, who remained seated during the distribution but conspicuously refused to accept one. Meanwhile, as the event dragged, Obi had no choice but to return to the hall. However, he cunningly never returned to his seat. Instead, he lingered awkwardly by the side of the stage for the remainder of the event, strategically positioning himself out of view of both the media cameras and the ADC branded materials. His seat remained conspicuously vacant from the moment he stood up until the conclusion of the programme.
This was no accident. It was a deliberately choreographed act of political duplicity. A cunningly devised act that was meant to project deniability while benefiting from the optics of association. What Peter Obi and Datti Ahmed exhibited that day was not principled politics, but a masterclass in subtle sabotage. Their actions were guided not by transparency, but by calculation. In a moment that called for clarity and conviction, both men chose concealment and cowardice.
Let it be said plainly: Peter Obi and Datti Ahmed are not the saints their supporters believe them to be. Their insincerity is so deeply embedded, it rivals, if not exceeds, the well-documented falsehoods of the Bola Tinubu administration. Beneath their self-righteousness lies the same old politics of manipulation, self-preservation, and duplicity. Their sneaky theatrics on July 2nd proved one thing unmistakably: you don’t need to say a word to lie. Sometimes, all it takes is silence and a well-timed exit.

@Are_dion @Iam_Musteey Because you're okay doesn't mean you should be indifferent
Any politician who hasn't shown us he has the interest of the masses at heart should not be our collective option
We should leave this pattern of big man politics,it's very selfish
I really prayed ADC work but......
English

@ustyn_1555 @Iam_Musteey What's my own. BAT win oh, BAT no win oh, I'm good, like even if fuel should hit 1700, I'm good. I hate saying this here, but I'm good. So what's Mt own. I'm just laughing at a country that loves mutual self destruction than actual logic in doing things. Everyone would be fine
English

@Are_dion @Iam_Musteey Tinubu will win so rest
Nothing change than that
English

@Iam_Musteey @ustyn_1555 Just leave them, they really don't understand that the dynamics has changed. Let's see how many of them would have the balls to vote obi in lagos, or be able to battle the rigging machinery that is loading. They think it's all eyes on the judiciary 🤡🤡

@thebardogbamola I stopped reading at some point
We all know what we are doing
English

On Obi, Atiku, Kwankwaso and ADC to NDC.
My opinion might not be popular and might be subject to controversy but the truth is the truth.
In politics, interest rules supreme and one must understand that everyone who participates in politics does so for certain interests. It might be for individual reasons and it might be for collective interest. Whichever fits your bill is what should and will drive you.
In terms of national politics in Nigeria, it is very treacherous and one move can decide the fate of generations. There is need for caution when making certain moves especially when making alliances.
The alliance of Obi and Kwankwaso on the surface looks perfect but not until one views it holistically and core questions are asked.
I am a grassroot politician and I know how much of political fortunes has been affected by the fact that I am in the opposition. I don't feel bad about it because this is nature of grassroots politics, that is why I personally will not trust a grassroot politician at Kwankwaso's level totally. The reason being, grassroots politics entails taking care of immediate needs and having influence to solve the problems of your followers. A grassroot politician is a business man in politics and he can't afford to stay too long in opposition. So if I were Obi, I will ask myself this question, if I align with Kwankwaso and Tinubu decides to fight me, is Kwankwaso ready to sacrifice and fight for a long time with me. One has to be careful not to ride on the back of the tiger, so that one does not end up in it's belly.
Secondly, I don't think the optics is good for PO if he leaves ADC at this point. Anyone who wants to wrestle power from Tinubu must be ready for a fight and the best way to prove and show him that fight is to start with this ADC court case. If you cannot fight out all the hurdles and odds in ADC, then is it when Tinubu rigs the election you will fight? All these that Tinubu is doing, he is testing the waters to know how much fight PO has in him. Tinubu doesn't care about how much you abuse him on social media or space events, he cares about holding on to power.
As for Atiku, yes, we all know he is past the age of presidency and he should have given it up but this is where PO needs to show the world that he is a great negotiator. If PO can negotiate the coalition, then he should be able to negotiate and find a way to convince Atiku that he is the best man for the job.
I can assure everyone of you, if PO goes to another party and Atiku runs, Tinubu will win again and trust me, there is nothing anybody will do. The only way to defeat Tinubu is through a united opposition. Tinubu is not out to play fair, he has shown you he will not play fair, so going into a three way horse race with strange bed fellows is the easiest path to defeat.
Kindly ask yourselves these questions, who are the people PO will trust if Tinubu rigs the election? Kwankwaso, El Rufai? Same people who will immediately turn against him because they know it is the turn of the North once Tinubu leaves and they are all also ambitious? They will negotiate with Tinubu and sell him out. You may disagree and hate me for this but this is the truth like I know it. If PO wants to win people's confidence about fighting for 2027, that fight should be in the ADC.
