AI won’t replace SaaS. It doesn’t even make sense as an analogy.
Let’s say you have a newsletter-sending SaaS like Mailchimp.
Maybe AI can help with the newsletter creation part. But after that? You have to deliver all those emails. And that’s a whole bunch of plumbing work that has nothing to do with AI.
If I was an everyday knowledge worker and all I do is come into work Monday to Friday and design emails, then yes I would be worried.
But for the average indiehacker AI just means our apps can have better creative features or friction reduction.
