The belittlement of Marathon players enjoyment with steam charts followed by review bombing a game outside of Destiny 2 is truly a “You’re boos mean nothing, I’ve seen what makes you cheer” moment. This negatively affects people’s perception of Marathon GAMEPLAY. It’s unwarranted

Marathon was never intended to replace Destiny, but many Destiny fans clung to that absurd fear, and the only thing those same fans ended up causing was the demise of destiny, since many of them didn't support Marathon. In the end, ironically, their actions led to the downfall.

PVE-Only modes in Extraction Shooter games completely defeat the point btw and do nothing but hurt the general playerbase. you can see this is the case with Tarkov even games that originally have no PVE element adding PVPVE modes, i.e COD Warzone w/ the casual playlists

I said this shortly after launch but now I’m close to 400 hours in game I want to reaffirm it. Marathon is legitimately the best multiplayer FPS since Titanfall 2 and if you’re even slightly curious about it you honestly owe it to yourself to give it a go once season 2 launches next month. Ignore the crybabies and chart watchers who haven’t put a minute into the full release and just give it a genuinely honest try and you won’t be disappointed. ❤️

@PorkPoncho It was fun for a while, it was a new exciting game. I had nothing else to play that I was interested in at the time. But like I said it’s just like every other extraction shooter. It gets boring after a while, you’re doing the same thing every game. An arena mode would do numbers

Season 1 of Ranked is winding down and we have something special planned for the final week. Ranked Cryo Archive will premiere on May 24 (10 AM PT) and run until May 28 (10 AM PT). It's time to finally equip the best gear you have been saving all season and venture into the derelict ship before the Season ends. Requirements to enter Ranked Cryo ➡️Runner Level 25 ➡️3,000 loadout requirement (low stakes) ➡️10,000 loadout requirement (high stakes) Ranked Cryo will be the final time Season 1 of Ranked will be available. If you are still wanting to earn a title or one of the cosmetic rewards, you have until 10AM PT on May 28 to hit the Rank required. Make sure you claim any Ranked reward packages from your Codex before the end of the season as they will not carry over. We will be sharing more details on the Season reset and what is coming in Season 2 in the next few weeks. Good luck in the Marathon ship!
