We have unwittingly trained Penny, our Golden Retriever, to expect a treat every evening after we put the dishwasher on. The upside of this is that if I ever forget to actually put the dishwasher on she is very quick to let me know.

This weekend my family and I travelled ~1000km (~620 miles) in our full electric car (from Brisbane to Armidale and back). The trip was smooth sailing, and having done a couple of long journeys in our EV - my biggest advice is this: plan to recharge the car frequently.

What we did not know was that they were autistic. We would not learn this until they were over 2 years old. When we did learn this, it helped us hugely as parents to understand how to raise them better and understand their unique perspective.
