I'm going to deactivate my Twitter for a while. Not sure how long I'll be away for, maybe a week or two, I don't know. I've been seriously considering leaving Twitter to go to Bluesky and IG for a while now. I don't want to go because of Elon's rubbish, but I'm tired by it.

@v_greyauthor Hasn't SCOTUS already said they have Obergefell (the same sex marriage judgment) in their sights? The idea of a country that leads the world in science and technology, and has several of the world's very best universities plunging headlong into obscurantism is mindblowing.

Earlier this morning Janey passed away in her sleep. Her family were with her.
The love and support from all her friends and fans during this cancer journey brought her enormous joy. It has also been a huge comfort to us, her family and close friends, thank you.
