For Vitec, I think investors expect higher organic for a couple reasons. 1. The business focuses more on buying growth companies. They're willing to pay higher multiples for growth, so the expectation is that organic growth should be stronger. 2. Vitec has a significant amount of capitalized development costs. These are a cost of developing software for future organic growth. These costs are significantly higher than even Topicus. If these costs are so much higher, then the organic growth expectations are also higher. Therefore, seeing Topicus organic growth rates higher or on par with Vitec's is either a sign that Vitec's investments in organic growth and/or acquired companies isn't as high a Topicus/CSU.

Has $VIT-B.ST's subscription organic growth deceleration bottomed? $CSU's has remained fairly steady. I sense VIT's finance, property & healthcare ERPs hav more competitors vs CSU's VMS. Investors still demand higher organic growth in VIT? They definitely dont expect that for CSU

An update on Pershing Square USA, Ltd. $PSUS:   Since its IPO on April 29th, PSUS has deployed nearly 85% of its capital in 12 companies including Amazon, Microsoft, UBER, Meta, Brookfield, Restaurant Brands, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac at prices we believe to be extremely attractive.   The PSUS portfolio, along with the other Pershing Square funds, also includes four new companies, which we will disclose at the time of our second quarter report.   As a result of our investment activity over the last six weeks, we believe the PSUS portfolio is now invested in a number of the highest quality durable growth companies in the world, which are trading near their all-time lowest valuations.   Furthermore, as of this moment, PSUS is trading at a ~20% discount to the net asset value (NAV) of its underlying holdings so a buyer of the stock at today’s price is acquiring the current portfolio at a double discount. We believe the PSUS discount to NAV has emerged due to short-term technical factors related to the IPO that should moderate over time.   Pershing Square management and affiliates are all-in, having acquired more than ten million shares or $500+ million of PSUS in the IPO and in the market thereafter. 
In summary, we believe PSUS and its portfolio holdings represent an extremely attractive bargain at today’s share price and we have put our money where our mouth is.

Yesterday, I posted about $HIMS use of convertible debt to buy back stock. While it remains true that I'm not crazy about the move (I like buybacks to come from operating cash), enough people have brought up valid points for me to admit it's not as bad as I first thought. Thanks to those with constructive feedback. And FWIW, I only own 16 stocks, and $HIMS is one of them -- I tend to be hardest on the stocks I own.

@adamkhootrader With P/S 125 and P/FCF 253 even the best company is a no go to buy now. Of course it depends when you entered. The TAM is there but currently the company is in bubbly areas. FCF 1.7B and market cap almost 0.5T. If stock goes up only due to multiple expention.

@v_paschalidis If you are saying this, that means you do not really understand the true business potential and its TAM as well as how to value it correctly.

As an investor , the risk of selling winning stocks too early is far riskier than selling losing stocks too late A losing stock can only -100% but a winning stock can gain over +1,000% I sold EL too late and lost -45% but I’ve held onto winners like NVDA +1,173% and PLTR +1,800% Never cut your flowers too early 🌹

Στην Ελλάδα εκατομμύρια Ελλήνων χθες έδειξαν ότι πνίγονται από την ίδια την κυβέρνηση της χώρας. Και απλά είναι Σάββατο. Κατά την επίσκεψή μου στο «Ασκληπιείο» ενημερώθηκα για τις αναβαθμισμένες υπηρεσίες που παρέχονται στους ασθενείς στις νέες, μεγαλύτερες πτέρυγες του ΤΕΠ, το οποίο εκτείνεται σε σχεδόν διπλάσια έκταση σε σχέση με το προηγούμενο και περιλαμβάνει 37 κλίνες, έναντι 20 προηγουμένως.
