The illusory part here, at its core, is that we are a static, mostly unchanging entity. In reality we are a process. Like a whirlpool. If you were to analyze a whirlpool you would find out that it's not real. It's just a pattern of movement in water. That's you. A pattern of movement and thought in the universe.
