@BethRigby @BethRigby do you not feel ashamed posting spin like this? On what earth does a normal person see losing 800 councillors as "good"?

@JulieBorowski I generally agree but the planned wing is too big and overly tall, it dwarfs the historical building. All they need to do is reduce the height by about 10ft. The west and east wing were always lower so that they didn't overshadow the historical building

@BlackwoodBrief It is mad but true... the capitalist west can no longer compete against the efficiency of communist China. The only way we will stop our economies from dying is to restrict access to superior and cheaper chinese products

🚨 Europe just declared economic WAR on China!
While China is flooding the world with cheaper, smarter, and better electric cars… Europe’s response?
“Ban them. Tax them. Force everyone to buy our expensive ones instead!”
This isn’t protection. This is pure panic.
They’re literally admitting Chinese tech is beating them at their own game — so they’re changing the rules.
European citizens will now pay MORE for LESS, just to protect outdated industries.
How long will people accept this madness?
The free market is exposing the truth… and Europe is terrified. 🔥
What do you think — smart strategy or economic suicide?

@MbarkCherguia That was my childhood. I still remember 'IO error' constantly after sitting through 5 minutes of distorted noise

Secretary Rubio just laid down the law over the Straits of Hormuz.
Iran does not get to extort the world and play toll collector on international waters.
RUBIO: “If what they mean by opening the the straits is, yes, the straits are opened as long as you coordinate with Iran, get our permission or we'll blow you up and you pay us...”
“Thats not opening the straits!”
“Those are international waterways.”
“They cannot normalize, nor can we tolerate them trying to normalize a system in which the Iranians decide who gets to use an international waterway and how much you have you pay them to use it.”

Rep. Boebert says she’s working on legislation to fund the White House Ballroom:
I’m working on legislation to ensure we are getting the ballroom funded. There’s obviously a national security element to that, and it needs to be done.
Reporter: Is there any better use for taxpayer dollars?
Boebert: Are you kidding? There’s hardly any money here that is going to that. He has it funded.

@WeWillBeFree24 It is too big and overshadows the historical building. It needs to be about 10-20ft shorter like the west wing and previous east wing were

Not the ballroom, but the urgency for which it should be built should terrify you.
The ballroom, underneath, will house the most advanced secure military bunker/complex system in history to include; medical facilities, a hospital, and biodefense system. It features missile-resistant and blast proof structures, top- secret military applications to protect from drone swarms, hypersonic threats, and other modern attacks. These details were exposed in the lawsuit. It dwarfs the White House.
The ballroom, the opulent "shed" that sits on top was halted by court order, not the bunker system.
So why the sudden urgency? Rand Paul even flipped the switch.

BREAKING: Secretary of War Pete Hegseth calls out America's allies: "The time for free riding is over."
"America and the free world deserve allies who are capable, who are loyal, and who understand that being an ally is not a one way street."
"We barely use the Strait of Hormuz as a country. Our energy doesn't flow through there, and we have plenty of energy."
"We are not counting on Europe, but they need the Strait of Hormuz much more than we do, and might want to start doing less talking and having less fancy conferences in Europe and getting a boat."

@7Veritas4 It really shows how inept our so called opposition parties are in the west. If they could only take down our political class half as well as Iran has...

My wife collapsed in our hotel room in New York today
“Call an ambulance, I can’t breathe” she was screaming
My heart dropped
If she ends up in an American hospital we are financially ruined
I went on the Lufthansa app to book a flight back to Frankfurt, but unfortunately pilots are on strike today
“Please I’m begging you” she was lying on the floor
I sighed and called 911
She is now in surgery as apparently her appendix “almost burst”
I am extremely scared
This is going to cost us at least $100,000
She could have received much better care, for free, in Germany
I will never visit this barbaric country ever again

Just spoke with dozens of European VCs
They all agreed: AI is over
No one is putting money into AI startups anymore
OpenAI is likely going bankrupt
I asked what the next big thing is
They all answered in unison:
Regulation.
And the hot spot for the best regulations?
Europe.
Meanwhile, America is getting left behind
