Sunil Singhania on where smart money is going in 2026 — and where we agree (and diverge). We sat down with @SunilBSinghania for 60 minutes. 7 standout points 👇 1️⃣ India underperformed EMs by 30% over 1 year — worst in 3 decades. From here, things can only get better. 2️⃣ India’s valuation premium to MSCI Emerging Markets Index peers has dropped from 100% to ~27% — now far more reasonable. 3️⃣ The EU FTA is bigger than people realise — preferential access to a market larger than the US. 4️⃣ Mid & small cap earnings grew 15–19% last quarter, yet many are still 40%+ below highs — opportunity zone. 5️⃣ “The best company isn’t always the best stock.” Price matters. 6️⃣ On AI — disruption always looks scary early, but history rhymes. 7️⃣ “I don’t know any billionaire who became wealthy through trading.” SIP flows rising = maturing investors. 💬 Where we land: The India case is strong — valuations, earnings, and policy tailwinds are aligning. But global remains a core allocation, not a trade. The smartest portfolios in 2026 hold both. 👉 To watch the full conversation, subscribe to Thefynprint: thefynprint.com/masterclasses 📞 Want to explore global investing? Abakkus Flexi Cap Fund - Came up with an NFO in December 2025. >AUM is over ₹3,100 crore and it holds 44 stocks. Portfolio P/E is 23×. NAV is below ₹10. The portfolio looks interesting. There is no traditional IT exposure. Banks form almost 30% of the portfolio. Pharma, industrials and AMCs are key areas. They already manage ₹40,000 crore across PMS and AIF strategies. They also have small cap and liquid funds. The AMC is led by Sunil Singhania, who has 30+ years of experience and follows a GARP style of investing. He has worked at Nippon India Mutual Fund, where the mid cap fund delivered 100× growth over 22 years under his leadership. Seems like a worthy competitor in the flexi cap space. Anyone invested? 👀
