Did you know $MXL is the top holding in Invesco’s Semiconductor ETF $PSI ? A $6B company over the likes of the giants $AMD , $AVGO , $NVDA , and $MU 🤯

CPO is forecasted to grow at 142% CAGR from 2026 to 2030, excluding ELS. Scale-up CPO surpasses scale-out before 2030 and becomes the dominant market. GPU-to-GPU optical interconnects (replacing copper inside AI clusters) eat the bigger pie, not rack-to-rack switching. Scale-up is closer to the GPU package. Different supply chains. Different attach economics. Different multiples. Who supplies scale-up? NVIDIA already answered that question with $4B into Coherent $COHR and Lumentum $LITE for lasers, $2B with Marvell $MRVL for NVLink Fusion optical I/O, and TSMC ($TSM) SoIC for the 3D packaging. Add InP substrates (AXT $AXTI, IQE $IQE, Sumitomo), SOI wafers (Soitec $SOI), polymer modulators (Lightwave Logic $LWLG), and ELS specialists (Sivers $SIVE). Scale-out is the Broadcom + module vendor game. Scale-up is the NVIDIA captive ecosystem. Knowing which bucket each name plays in matters. I’m long photonics

Just in case you’re wondering why I’m so bullish on CPO. Like $SIVE (Lasers), Shunsin (Packaging), MSSCorps (Yields), Win Semi / $TSEM (Foundry). “The CPO market is projected to grow sharply by a 142% CAGR from 2026 to 2030 (excl. ELS)” “The scale-up CPO segment is projected to surpass scale-out applications before 2030 and become the dominant market. You have almost parabolic growth over the next few years. With many players like Sivers having no material exposure to previous 800g pluggable optics but are the bleeding edge leaders of CPO as the laser supplier. This is one of the best and earliest opportunities of the next optical supercycle for an architecture driven by $NVDA and $AVGO.

I’m personally a fan of the functional monopolies. Here’s 6 of them that I own. 1. $TOWA (6315) - HBM4 Compression 2. MSSCorp (6830) - CPO Inspection 3. $LPK - Glass Core Substrates 4. $SOI - Silicon Photonics Substrates 5. $AXTI - End-to-End (mineral, refinery, production) InP substrates. 6. $ALRIB - Quantum / MBE (hybrid level systems). I can’t give recommendations. But for me personally, I wouldn’t buy all of them today eg. AXT until there’s clarity over share authorization + it ran like 1000% already within a small timeframe. But just thematically as you’ve seen, they tend to outperform so I’m holding all regardless. There’s a lot more of these out there that you should definitely research yourself. Always better to teach the thought process so people can do this themselves.

$100 million in verified profits. He almost never trades. He said 90% of setups don't make the cut. ↓ Lance has been trading for 15 years. And the first thing he'll tell you is that markets are brutally efficient. Most setups aren't worth touching. He learned that the hard way. For years he fought every move before it was ready. Buying too early. Stopping out. Buying again. Stopping out again. Then when it really accelerated — he'd flip short. Right into the turn. Lost on the way down. Lost on the way up. Missed the bounce completely. "I've made every psychological error in the game." The only thing that fixed it was reps. Thousands of charts. Years of catching himself mid-mistake. Until eventually he built something. A mental rubric for every single setup he looks at. Every trade gets a mental tally across a list of variables before he risks a dollar. Most don't score high enough. He won't touch them. But when everything lines up? He calls those pocket aces. And when pocket aces show up — he sizes up aggressively. Because at that point, the probability isn't a coin flip anymore. These patterns have held through 2008. Through COVID. Through today. Every asset. Every time frame. 90% of setups don't make the cut. The 10% that do built $100 million. -- We'll DM you Lance's complete strategy + a step-by-step using a real trade example. Reply "SEND" if you want it (free)👇

@HyperTechInvest One more worth adding: $AIXA (Aixtron). As AI data centers shift to faster optical links, demand for III-V lasers rises. Aixtron makes the tools many suppliers use to build those lasers, so it benefits early in the chain — upstream of $LITE, $COHR, and others.

Optics will likely follow memory in the AI supercycle Here are some of the top optics stocks to consider for your portfolio: — $COHR | Coherent – Makes the high-speed lasers and fiber-optic parts that move data between servers in cloud and AI data centers. — $LITE | Lumentum – Supplies optical modules and lasers that big cloud providers use to upgrade their data-center and AI networks to higher-speed connections. — $AAOI | Applied Optoelectronics – Builds fiber-optic modules that plug into servers and switches so hyperscalers can move data quickly inside modern data centers. — $FN | Fabrinet – Contract manufacturer that assembles a large share of the industry’s advanced optical modules for major networking and AI customers. — $CIEN | Ciena – Sells optical networking systems that carry huge amounts of traffic between data centers and across long-distance fiber networks. — $MRVL | Marvell – Designs the chips that sit inside high-speed optical modules and switches, letting AI clusters communicate efficiently at massive scale. — $GLW | Corning – Provides the fiber-optic cable and connectivity hardware that data centers and telecom operators use to build out high-bandwidth networks. — $VIAV | Viavi Solutions – Makes optical components and test tools that network operators use to build, check, and maintain fast fiber-optic networks. — $NOK | Nokia – Through its optical networking business, provides coherent optical systems and transport gear that boost capacity on fiber links between large data centers and across regions. — $POET | POET Technologies – Microcap photonics company developing compact optical engines for high-speed links in AI and cloud data centers. — $LWLG | Lightwave Logic – Early-stage company working on new electro-optic materials that could make future data-center optical links faster and more efficient.

@OpenMedFuture @AdrianP_doc Belgium says “all EU states,” even though everyone knows you will never get real solidarity from Hungary. So it feels like Belgium is adding this roadblock on purpose.

@AdrianP_doc Belgium agrees and is supportive to Ukrain. However it would help to not turn the facts up side down. Belgium asked for EU solidarity and legal and financial solidarity from all other EU states. They shut put their money were their mouth is.

A lot of Belgians replying to me about "rules", "law", "order" when it comes to releasing frozen Russian assets to Ukraine. But they never mention rules when russia wipes out entire cities and their soldiers r*pe women if front of their kids before shoot!ng them.

@crux_capital_ Do you think the tight supply of InP lasers also means companies like $aixa, who make the tools for laser factories, could see more demand?

One of the most important shifts in AI infrastructure is happening inside the optical layer. $LITE $COHR The industry is leaning heavily on 200G Indium Phosphide EML lasers, the light sources that sit inside every 800G and 1.6T link. Demand is climbing quickly as clusters move to higher speeds and larger network footprints. Only a limited group of facilities worldwide can produce these lasers at high yield. Most 800G modules use four. Standard 1.6T designs use eight. Early 3.2T prototypes in the field rely on either sixteen 200G lanes or eight 400G lanes, which increases the pull on III-V laser supply. Manufacturers have already acknowledged a persistent 25 to 30% gap between demand and available output. Adding new InP capacity takes years because it requires specialized equipment, complex growth recipes, and highly experienced process teams. This is where $LITE becomes important. Lumentum operates two of the highest performance InP fabs in the sector, which positions the company near the center of a supply chain where stable III-V output is becoming increasingly valuable.
