I've been working professionally with #batteries since 2015 and, a decade later, it's mind-boggling how bad battery simulation still is. If I want to model strain in a vehicle anti-roll bar, or solve general mechanics or fluid dynamics problems, I can do so easily, accurately & quickly with computer aided engineering tools. Any engineer expecting the same experience in battery simulation is in for a world of pain in 2025.

Last week I attended the @pybamm_ training in Warwick. Although I currently use PyBaMM for my work on Li-S batteries, I thoroughly enjoyed learning about the additional features and complexity for Li-ion battery modelling. Thank you to @batterymodel for organising the training!
