In February of this year I received a call from the American Red Cross of Illinois that I had been selected as this year's Global Citizenship Hero for my medical work in Ukraine. I knew my friend had nominated me back in December but I shelved that away somewhere in the back of my mind. Until that February evening I sat shocked in my tent trying to process what I had just been told. The American Red Cross of Illinois Global Citizenship Hero award honors individuals who dedicate themselves to humanitarian causes, advocating for vulnerable populations across the globe. I want to first express my gratitude to the American Red Cross of Illinois for this honor. Thank you so much! I went home for the first time in almost two years to accept the award in person which was a surreal experience. I dedicated this award to my brother in arms, Biggy, US Army 68W who I served with and was killed in battle in November 2025. At the end of my acceptance speech, I said that in Ukraine we say "Glory to Ukraine!" (Слава Україні!/Slava Ukraini!) and the response is "Glory to Heroes! (Героям слава! /Heroyam Slava!). Today I say Glory to all the Heroes that walk alongside me in this life of service to others. Thank you!" Please help me continue my mission! Thank you for all your support!!!!

Another round of accusations this time from foreign marine Anne Catherine Magnette (@Tatou_Ania) calling officers of the 93rd Brigade and the commander of @93alcatraz corrupt. Let’s cut the bullshit. People collecting donations into private PayPal accounts don’t get to lecture anyone about corruption. Real fundraising, legal fundraising requires receipts, contracts, grant documentation, and mandatory reporting. That’s how serious money is handled. Ukraine enforces strict financial laws. Every single month, funds are documented, approved, and reported to the government. We do not collect money into private accounts. All funds raised by @93alcatraz and myself go through: a U.S. registered 501(c)(3) a Canadian nonprofit a Ukrainian charitable foundation Not a single cent has gone into private pockets. Every purchase is documented. Every transaction is submitted to the bank. Every report is filed with the Ukrainian government by the 15th of the following month. That’s accountability. Meanwhile, there are people loudly accusing Ukrainians while quietly routing donations into personal accounts with zero transparency, zero reporting, and zero monthly statements. If you want to talk about corruption let us start there. And here’s the part that matters: While some foreigners are busy slandering decorated #Ukrainian soldiers, we are actually trying to keep them alive. Right now, we urgently need shotguns. These can ONLY be funded through our Ukrainian charitable foundation in compliance with Ukrainian law. Company details: Company Name: БО БФ ПЛАНЕТА ЛЮДЕЙ (Planet Of People) IBAN Code: UA493052990000026003010141249 Назва банку / Name of the bank: JSC CB "PRIVATBANK", 1D HRUSHEVSKOHO STR., KYIV, 01001, UKRAINE Bank SWIFT Code: PBANUA2X Company address: 04053, UKRAINE, KYIV, KYIANIVSKYI LANE, 3-7, APT. 102A If you actually care about Ukrainians surviving please help. If you’re going to throw accusations show us your receipts, your reports, and your monthly statements. You don’t get to come to #Ukraine and talk about Ukrainians being corrupt while collecting money with 0 oversight. #StandWithUkraine

"To the women here, let me be extremely blunt- even though our existence is objectively better for humanity in every way, at every turn of your career there will be those who underestimate you, under value you or belittle you. Do it anyway. Make your voice heard, be ok with being unlikeable. And when you rise, and I know you will, do not fall victim to the system they have built for us." Happy International Women's Day. May we be one of many, not one of the few to continue make a difference in the world around us. To pioneer, to move us forward, break stigmas, crush goals, make the world a better place, and rise against injustice

News from Sveta. Story 1 I became a platoon commander and at the same time continue to personally carry out combat missions. This is a great responsibility that I consciously took on and I can see the result 💪 I invite motivated people to join my platoon. There is training, education, the possibility to choose a position and a specialization (pilots / drivers / technicians / engineers, etc.). I want to build a strong team — people who are ready to work, develop, learn, and be one whole. All questions — via direct messages. ⸻ Story 2 I will not pass by women either — you are also welcome 💪 If you feel that you are ready — come to me. Medics / pilots / clerks / engineers, etc. ⸻ Story 3 Advice for those who are choosing right now. Look not at loud names or media exposure, but at the people you will have to fight alongside. It’s hard for civilians to imagine how everything looks from the inside until you end up in the system. And there it’s not the image that matters, but the attitude. A soldier is not expendable material. Even a soldier must feel respect, support, and understanding — and most importantly, know that the commander will not turn away (won’t abandon you). With me, this is guaranteed 💪 ⸻ Story 4 This is me during a period of burnout. They tried to break my motivation, to break me — but I held on to what was inside me, what I managed to preserve, even when I wasn’t heard or they didn’t want to hear me. I said everything directly, to faces, regardless of ranks or who was standing in front of me. And after every discussion or situation, I simply said straight: “I told you this is how it would be.” So now you see a completely different me in stories. You see how everything changes when you end up next to the right people. I’ve been through a lot as an ordinary soldier — and I’m glad about it. I won’t tell the stories — not everyone will understand, and you don’t need that.

This is post 11: The last post I will be making about Tatou Ania - Anne Catherine Magnette. I have dedicated this to the people who say I deserve this because my personality is drama and I brought it on myself. To the people who think because we are living in a war and our friends are dying we should suffer in silence. That we should take death threats and calls to police, to our ex’s, to our employers because you think we deserve it. I am taking a break from the internet but I am taking back my life, with or without your support. And if you came to the end of these videos and have decided that you still support her, I don’t need your support. #SupportUkraine doesn’t mean you have to let someone ruin your life and just take it. If you want to support my soldiers, our link tree is in my BIO, none of us here deserve this while we are trying to survive.

I watched all of April’s videos. What she’s describing isn’t “internet drama” or “hurt feelings.” It’s sustained harassment aimed at someone who’s been doing real, documented work for Ukraine. April signed a contract with the AFU and showed receipts. Instead, we’re watching lies, half-truths, and straight-up manipulation being used to turn people against her. That’s disgusting. I’ve heard nothing, but good things about April from Ukrainians themselves. I’ll trust people on the ground over some weird wannabe stirring drama online. Twisting facts, playing victim and feeding outrage mobs isn’t accountability, but sabotage. If you don’t even understand what units like Alcatraz are, maybe stop talking and do some research before amplifying nonsense. I see the troll circles being fed and it’s ugly. I fully support April.

I am making posts I never wanted to make because I am honestly tired and for many people you won’t want to see this. But if I am going to get my mental health back I need to finally talk about the hell I have been living through because of Anne Catherine Magnette - Tatou Ania. This is part 1 of I don’t know how many but today I want to try and take back my peace and focus on #Ukraine

@AprilHuggett It’s time to take legal action. You’re doing the right thing by documenting everything. I truly hope you’re able to take legal action and get this stopped. Unfortunately, people like her often feed on reactions — even negative attention is still attention. You do not deserve this

Long T. Standing / Лонг Т. Стендінг
A Woman at War A 🧵 by Sgt. Long T. Standing The zero-line is not for everyone. With two years in the ZSU, I can assure you not everyone is even useful. Yesterday, I had a buddy in 3rd Assault Battalion ask me if I knew any women who wanted to be drone pilots, because women make great drone pilots. The reality is I have served with only two women on the front. A Ukrainian woman who I have served with since day one oftentimes, outside of the cooks, we are the only two out there. She is an amazing medic. Her long hair and lashes were inspiring. I did my makeup on the front because she did. I was able to keep my long hair because I watched how she cared for it. Sure, you go three weeks without washing it, but when you want it, it is there. She had nails, very short, and every man still trusted her with his life anyway. She earned that trust on the front. I remember as a civilian when I spent five years in various combat training, and after two years I cried. I was always covered in bruises. I couldn't dress nice without domestic violence inquiries. I remember well the internal debate of quitting. I didn’t, because I had the rest of my life to feel pretty and only three more years of training. Now, having been off the line for a year, I have regained a vast part of my life: long nails, nice dinners, a boyfriend. The front is hard. No indoor plumbing, often no power, few-if ever-indoor showers. Yet we still have periods, so it gets tough. A toughness men cannot imagine. We can’t wear the same underwear every day for a week; infection prevents free-balling, so to speak. We don’t have excuses in Ukraine. Cramps do not play a role in deployment schedules. Why? BECAUSE WE ARE ZSU! Welcome to the military, ma’am. This diligence we as women serve with is so respected and beloved by our male counterparts, it almost makes you forget about taking a shit under bombardment and changing your period pad as a “shahead” buzzes by you. No glory in dying with your pants down. None. War has, in the past, been women’s work. As patriarchy replaced matriarchy, women have historically been shut down and are having to fight our way back into war, medical, politics, and other jobs, including legal and financial sectors. Oftentimes with harassment, and tooth-and-nail fighting the patriarchal oligarchy of families, communities, and nations. It is an honor to be fighting alongside men. It is awesome that they are recruiting women. That those who have served did so with enough distinction that they created a need. I have served with men who don’t like women in war—two out of two hundred, so to speak. Many are proud. They think warrior women are awesome, brave, and needed. That is the take of the ZSU, and so, with honor and distinctionalong with some surprise, women are joining. This is an honor. Listen well: this is an honor. We are leaving a legacy behind us. The women who were silenced. The women who were shunned. Women who slept their way into positions, be it by beauty or coercion, no longer pave our path into history. We are trusted, relied on, and treated like soldiers. This distinction has been hushed throughout global history. Now it waves as proudly as the red and black flag of Ukraine. Honor is never given in the military; it is earned. To play even a small role in the history of its making is something we can stand shoulder-to-shoulder with men and, for the rest of our lives, say we have done so. As first-world nations erase the gains of the last 75 years of women in their militaries, Ukraine is recruiting, promoting, and investing. The honor is ours. With humble gratitude, I say thank you.

Devastating news: Mac Hughes, 23-year-old son of @HugsUkraine founder Paul Hughes, was critically injured in a Russian strike on his position. Paul has been a lifeline since the beginning of the full-scale war, evacuating, delivering critical medical aid to Ukrainian communities, helping relocated families to adjust in Kharkiv, and so much more. I know him personally and consider him not just a friend of Ukraine, but a friend of mine. His son, Mac, volunteered to defend our country. A Russian drone struck his position directly, leaving him with severe burns. Please keep them in your thoughts. And if you can, support their vital efforts & Mac's recovery via the link in @HugsUkraine's bio.

I’ll tell you what we had. Yes, we had a shit ton of russian propaganda. At school, we had more russian language classes than Ukrainian. But guess what? Every year, the students who scored top in Ukrainian exams across the whole country came from Donetsk or Luhansk regions. That’s a fact. So no saying we “didn’t know Ukrainian” is bullshit. We just didn’t use it much in daily life not because we weren’t Ukrainian, but because everything around us had been russified through years of propaganda and infiltration. We never felt russian. We always knew we were Ukrainian. But more than that, we always identified as people of Donetchyna (Donetsk region). That’s how it works in many parts of Ukraine (and I’m sure in your own countries too) you live in your own bubble, proud of where you’re from. As kids, we didn’t care about going to the capital. We had everything in Donetsk and more. Our cities were cleaner, better maintained. We had Donbas Arena, Donbas Plaza, our own newly built airport, lavish restaurants, cafes, parks, brands Kyiv could only dream of at the time. We weren’t drawn to the capital. We lived amazing lives. Everything around us was mainly in russian. Who the fuck was oppressing russian speakers? Why am I even alive now, if I, a russian-speaking child of Donbas, was supposedly a target of the “Ukrainian regime”? And then the little green fuckers came. And the nightmare hasn’t ended. So stop telling me, a child of Donbas, as you like to call us, how it was. We know damn well. Better than some fucker across the ocean ever will.
Rima 🇺🇦 The Red Queen of Donbas@RimaFellaria

It’s fucking 2025 and there are still people believing this bullshit🤦🏻‍♀️ I AM A CHILD OF DONBAS. WE HAD AN AMAZING LIFE BEFORE THE LITTLE GREEN MEN CAME TO “LIBERATE US”. Everyone who’s believing this bullshit is a fucking uneducated narrow minded moron with 2 brain cells!! Every bloody time I see these types of narratives I get so frustrated!
