@Friesein Vaccinate in groups if possible and don’t take first “no stock” to be true. My trial and error: If I told them I was 1 person, they would say “no stock” because the Novavax was in a 5-dose bottle and they didn’t want to throw out 4 unused doses if no others requested in 24 hours.

@Friesein I 100% had this experience, but not just CVS. “Check fridge” is important for any pharmacy. And check Expiry date!! More than once they had stock, and then checked the fridge - it turned out to be expired. Asking about expiry is important before making a drive somewhere!

Sometimes pharmacy technicians at CVS insist that they don't have Novavax or confuse it with SpikeVax (Moderna). Then they check the fridge, and—lo and behold, there it is! If you're at a CVS and expect them to have stock, show them a picture and ask them to check the fridge!
