My family and I are at AmericaFest as invited guests. The people I have met are truly incredible, but the speakers... ...I'm just really disappointed. A Leftist ass*ssinated Charlie Kirk in front of the world and all conservatives can do is yell at each other on stage. Charlie is gone. Not “canceled.” Not “deplatformed.” Dead. And yet somehow a bunch of people have managed to turn the aftermath into a talent show for who can land the sharpest jab on a fellow conservative. If we can’t pause the ego wars after that… what exactly are we conserving here? It feels like a lot of these famous podcasters are eating the conservative movement for engagement. I'm genuinely grossed out by it. It's gross watching people who claim to love America act like the real enemy is the person sitting two seats to their right. Charlie built a movement by arguing, persuading, recruiting, showing up on campuses, and pulling people INTO the movement. And now people on a stage, who clearly despise each other, are yelling at each other and dunking on each other. Can we just sit with the absurdity of that? Meanwhile, the people who want us dead aren’t arguing about which one of them is the purest. They’re organized. They’re disciplined. They’re watching the Right turn the microphone on each other. There’s a difference between iron sharpening iron… ...and stabbing your teammate in the back because it sounds bold and gets claps I’m new to the conservative movement. I didn’t grow up in this world. I’m not “conservative royalty.” I’m not a strategist. I’m not a speaker. I’m not even close to deserving an invited seat at something like this, and I'm grateful to be here. I have massive imposter syndrome. I’m the guy who got red-pilled late, who showed up late, and probably still has blind spots I’m probably not even aware of yet. So I’m not saying this as someone who thinks he has the authority to lecture anyone, I don't. I'm nobody. I’m saying this as someone who’s standing here with his family, looking around at people I respect… and just feeling sad. Sad that a moment that should have made all of us a little more sober, somehow turned into fighting like this. Maybe I’m naive. Maybe I’m expecting too much. But I remember what it felt like when I started waking up for the first time... The insane excitement, the hope, for the FIRST TIME understanding truth... So I'm BEGGING you, as a newcomer to this movement... DON'T LET THAT DIE. I know I don’t have the resume to demand anything from this movement. But I do have eyes. I can see the difference between leadership and clout-chasing. And I can see how easy it would be for people... GOOD PEOPLE... ...to watch us devour each other and just go: “Yeah… I’m out.” So if I’m wrong... fine. I'll take the heat, I'm still learning and I know very little. But I feel like the least we can do is not make Charlie's legacy a backdrop for petty infighting and instead act like we are movement worth joining without fear of being excommunicated for getting it wrong.
