If money wasn't the problem in this world, what will you be doing with your life right now?

@coaiecrete I work in a restaurant, and it became a norm. However, our place doesn’t require you to tip. Getting tips is nice, but not expected. As a customer myself, I like to tip, but every time they put such a screen in my face, I don’t tip on purpose. It is annoying.

I was starting to write posts a few times today, but I couldn’t finish a single sentence. Sometimes it’s better to not say anything, rather than say some nonsense. Here is a picture of Amsterdam instead : )

Life is so much more fun when you surround yourself with people who are optimistic about the future and you distance yourself from the people with a doom and gloom attitude

@MuenzenMeister Could it be that this is just a feature of the software system they use? Probably it is made for a USA customer in mind. And then businesses just adopt it here in EU.

Guilt Tipping in Deutschland: War gerade Eis essen.

@dipinvest I’ve been in the same situation. When I looked around in the same field - immediately much higher salary offers.

Almost 3 years at the same company, no bonus, no salary hikes… what should I do? Some people suggest monetising my newsletter more for extra income, but that’s not an option right now. I want to keep it free, with optional €30/year support for those who want to contribute.

I love how on X I connect with thoughts of people, and not looks. Thoughts tell me more about the person.

The people saying followers don’t matter do not understand psychology. Followers absolutely still matter. Every person that stumbles across your content will immediately look at your following to outsource trust validation. If your following is below the “minimum credibility line” they will not keep watching. If above, they will trust more quickly. This is base psychology. It’s true that followers are no longer a prerequisite to get reach, but a bigger following almost always helps you more than a smaller one does.

@Storage_Venture Mechanical watches are fascinating, so as smartwatch technology. I appreciate both. There are a lot of watch snobs with opinions, and I also don’t like the reputation of Rolex. It is not always safe to wear a luxury watch. So, Apple Watch is a really smart choice, actually.

Why do people write tweets like this? Where every sentence gets a new line. Sometimes a line might have two sentences. Like this one. But generally speaking, every sentence has a new line, making a tweet look like a long block of text that no one reads. Worse still, such tweets are often repetitive and winding, hammering on the same point over and over again. The writing is often very bad.

I use AI. I am an artist. But more than anything I AM A HUMAN. Don't strip me of my humanity because I welcome technology. Almost everything we do is integrated with technology. Traveling: vehicles, planes, ships, rockets. Entertainment: TV's, Radio, Cellphones, Computers, video game consoles. Technology has also helped fight heath issues such as diseases, cancers, and so many other sicknesses that were once death sentences for humans... So I don't think any of this hatred and resentment has anything to do with AI's material .... it's about them not being able to control the material that AI produces. That is what the establishment has a problem with. Losing control.
