I worked at NIAID for 17 years. Fauci is by far the most narcissistic person I’ve met in my 60 years of life, interacting with thousands of diverse people on 5 continents. You should have seen his office in Building 31, every wall completely covered with photos of himself and dignitaries. He invited Bono of U2 fame to his DC residence, also replete with photos of himself, to discuss AIDS, but really to surprise his daughters who he asked to answer the door. They screamed with delight. The man is totally overrated, and why anyone would eat a cupcake with his face on it is incomprehensible to me.

Anthony Fauci’s personal diary from the COVID pandemic has been released. It offers a revealing look at what was on his mind during one of the darkest periods in modern history. Fauci wrote: “Big front page article about me appeared in the Washington Post. Very flattering.” “My national and international fame is explosive and really unimaginable.” “It is not hyperbole to say that today I am the most famous and talked about person in the country and one of the most recognizable persons in the world.” As thousands died, millions were locked in their homes, and the global economy was in free fall as governments enacted policies based on his recommendations, Fauci was documenting how much he enjoyed the attention and praise he was receiving. Extremely disturbing.

@Vapingit Some of public health's animosity toward #SaferNicotine alternatives is due to "NIH Syndrome" (Not Invented Here). Some is due to a general tendency among publicly-funded health experts to see profit as evil (made worse when tobacco companies bought into the vape market).

Imagine #PublicHealth spending decades on a public health issue [smoking] with marginal success, only for a consumer-driven solution [vaping] to reduce combustible tobacco faster than ever, and then treating the solution like a crime?

But 1586 was NOT the start of tobacco-related deaths... for two reasons: 1) tobacco users smoked pipes or used snuff, both of which are FAR less harmful than cigarettes 2) avg life expectency was lower, so smokers did not live long enough to get smoking-related diseases

Dr. Fauci's own diary, in his own words, shows he knew the lab leak theory was credible from the very first weeks of the pandemic. 10 of 12 scientists on his call believed deliberate insertion was possible. He wrote that the wet market was never the real source. Then he spent the next 2 years telling the American people the opposite and smearing anyone who disagreed as a “conspiracy theorist.” That is the definition of a cover-up. Dr. Fauci’s diary is proof of a man completely drunk on his own celebrity. He was literally gloating that people thought he was "more sexy than Tyra Banks" while MILLIONS of people were dying. And it looks like he knew exactly why they were dying, and it wasn't the wet market. Fauci knew all along that COVID came from the Wuhan Institute of Virology, just like we exposed years ago. When he sits down in front of Congress later this week, I’m not sure the autopen can save him this time. He can’t repeat the old narrative under oath without committing a fresh crime, and I doubt his pride will let him admit he lied. That leaves him with only one way out: pleading the Fifth, which would expose the whole facade.
