Folks have to better than say the problem is “NATO” when it’s a few lame national leaders in the alliance. You don’t scrap the Navy and build a new one when you have a few bad captains in the fleet. Most of these are underwater domestically propped up by fringe elements in their parliament that are radical, Islamist or bought and paid by China or Russia.

These are the structural conditions for a coup attempt in which a president tries to nullify elections and take permanent power as a dictator.
