@shramn_ Instead of appreciating that gesture, personal anxiety shouldn't overrule basic manners.. I brought a treat out of goodwill..if you suspect it doesn't match with your diet habit just decline politely.. Expecting me to justify food to fit your specific bubbles is not my job

If anyone has "delicate sensibilities" it's the Mumbai housing societies where a tantrum is thrown and residents are banned over piece of chicken or an egg..

@Vidyut I agree.. As someone who was born and brought up in Mumbai.. Whenever there used to be birthday parties everyone had a great time.. But back in 2017 when I bought sweets / cakes from Europe, some Gujju / Jain people in office asked "if this cake or sweets were eggless"

Those things if they ever existed were a minority
No shops ever posted "eggless cakes" in Mumbai during that time

@varun_ashish @Vidyut There are such people as Marathi Jains and many Maharashtrians too are vegetarians. It is hard to find with egg cakes in Mumbai because the demand is much less for obvious reasons - you don’t cut two cakes in any occasion.

The amount of targeted hate and harassment I have received in past few days just for being Jain is unbelievable and unreal. Can’t believe I am saying this but for the first time even I feel thaf the real minority is so unsafe in this country. This wasn’t the city I grew up in. The divide and rule politics have ruined everything. Hate, views, validation, payout etc have won over humanity.

Jains being a minority is like Israelis being a minority. The numbers are low, but the influence and nuisance value is extremely high. If Marathis in Maharashtra are restricted in their diet inside their own homes and kitchens, businesses must be shut to please you, don't also expect to be liked.

Like applying for Schengen in Czechia or Latvia may be a faster process without much wait
Compared to applying in Germany / France

#SchengenVisa granted for a traveler. Flights Booked. Reached destination. At EU immigration was asked for stay bookings. Bookings didn't reflect the same as shown when applying visa + max days stay was not in country of visa country. Denied entry. Visa cancelled. Asked to return back to India.
