‼️ English Newspaper Alert ‼️ TOI - This yr, Delhi breathed 'cleanest' air since 2020 Indian Express - Delhi records highest PM2.5 this month since Dec 2018 @TOIDelhi deliberately doesn’t highlight how BJP Govt is openly fudging AQI data by continuously Sprinkling water on AQI Monitoring stations & shutting down data whenever pollution rises. This is just reducing the AQI number not the pollution. Choose wisely which Newspaper you read, because it’s now about ur health.

If the BJP and @narendramodi cannot slash GST on air purifiers, then they should provide clean air. We would not even need air purifiers if the air quality were good. This is the most shameless government in the history of independent India.

REMEMBER: Today is the last day of the Parliament session. The Modi government has completely—and ACTIVELY—avoided discussing the grave #AirPollution health crisis affecting large parts of India, including Delhi. People must realise they have been betrayed yet again. The BJP would rather see people mass-poisoned than risk any damage to its PR. Mr. Modi is abroad, moving like a robot from one foreign stop to another, while the country he “governs” is CHOKING on toxic air. What a pathetic state we have been reduced to. This government is interested only in jailing people after cooking up stories. We are a population so brutalised that our vote can be bought for a few thousand rupees. A friend recently said it is turning out a curse to be Indian. The BJP government is making it harder by the day to argue otherwise. Only people can save this country. People must rise.

🚨 Now or Never. Must Watch. Must Share.

Parliament winter session is over. #AirPollution not discussed. It was obviously not an urgent matter for them. We are being taken for granted. And left on our own.

To make for a healthy society clean air and water are the key basic human rights. And equally a responsibility of those who have chosen to provide and facilitate. Which is why it is multi-Ministry. Multi-department For clean Air, all have to have a common agreed goal in, Data Mangement (monitoring stations) Dust Control (Multi agency) Public Transport ( MultiAgency) Private Vehicles ( Multi agency) Industry ( Multi-Agency) Coal Usage (MultiAgency) Biomass ( MultiAgency) Agriculture (MultiAgency) Ocean/Rivers/Lakes/ Water Bodies (MultiAgency) International Cord ( Multi Agency) In NutShell demands close coordination in Governance by Elected and the Appointed. And Serve in a manner which earns trust of the people.

To reduce pollution it’s being suggested to replace personal cars by public transport. Good idea. Can we begin with senior public officials? Leading by example. -elected and the appointed? At least for coming to office and returning home?

The Honble PM has only to do one zoom call with five CMs. Five chief Secretaries Once a month This is how Covid was handled. This is how CSS (Centrally Sponsored Schemes ) were achieved. This is how targets were met. With progress reviewed by dash boards on daily basis. Officers pulled up for non performance. This is based on experience of your transformative leadership Sir. @PMOIndia Please also direct the Elected Reps, with District Magistrates to do Town Halls with people. For people to be heard. Can be in person or On line. Also on regular basis.

It’s in our hands. We can in a non partisan way. Practical Strategy from a senior officer in the Govt of Delhi. “No immediate solution exists” as he says. . BUT if we do the following earnestly. 1) “Huge number of vehicles”, Policy for vehicle limitation on the roads till situation normalises. Take people into confidence and explain on the media. /TV. / YouTube’s/ SMs 2) “industries and thermal plants around Delhi” Practical time bound plan for reversal of all concerned on Notice by respective District Adm. / local elected Reps/ Panchayats 3) and “biomass burning by people to keep warm is the cause” Move house to house to give them a replacement and other ways. ( local adm including the local elected reps. ) People only talk of dust to distract attention to something which is natural and can not react. 4) “Promote public transport/ EV based,” plan a time bound plan and begin 5) “eliminate polluting industries” Have a time bound plan for wash such identified industry And overseen by local adm including the elected reps. 6) “improve thermal plants and provide electricity and LPG to rural masses is the solution” Have a time bound plan. And begin with it overseen by District Adm. Including elected reps. All these steps with time bound plans and daily progress review shall bear results. ———————-//// All these steps can be broken down into actionable steps and execution can begin all around. Provided it is led by the key executives in the Government. These require daily enforcement. By multiple agencies. All in alignment…(Governance) Daily Progress Review. @byadavbjp @gupta_rekha @PMOIndia @mssirsa
