The team @ChurchillDowns have correctly treated the week of @KentuckyDerby as their Golden Goose. It’s their marquee event. When they’ve had anything that’s threatened it, they have responded with a firm decision to change behavior - think Baffert getting a positive in the Oaks, saying he’d rectify it and then coming back with a positive in the Derby. They responded. While this hasn’t quite the optics of the issue I just mentioned, it’s hard not to believe that CDI won’t have some action on CAWs/Pool latency as it is clearly affecting their marquee week in a less than positive light.
