It was great to meet with outgoing COP President Alok Sharma and other youth groups to discuss how to amplify young people’s role in UNFCCC processes. 🇺🇳 We need to both have a seat at the table and the tools to fully participate!

Ran into the Former UN Human Rights Commissioner @raad_zeid while looking for his wisdom on how to tackle some of the challenges we’ve been witnessing at @COP27P negotiations. It helped settle my mind a little.

Today we’re meeting with the esteemed @lordstern1, who is also a member of our advisory council, to discuss how we can boost youth leadership within the UNFCCC. Lord Stern also gave our youth delegates some tips to overcome hurdles in the topics they’re negotiating!

Co-founder of CYNP Sophie Daud moderated a panel today on training the next generation of climate negotiators 💪. One of our very own youth negotiators, Carola, also spoke to bring her own experiences into this crucial discussion!

We met some of our amazing donors at @BoschStiftung! Our negotiators explained how their CYNP training has empowered them to participate fully in the negotiations and now the youth negotiators work so hard to support one another.
