Rajasthan doesn’t have a single, unified “Rajasthani” language. On the issue of parliamentary representation, India adopted family planning policies to balance population growth with available resources and improve overall living standards. On serious note, basic point is this : Do not try to blame Maharashtra for shortcomings in your sociopolity! Accept that there are issues within north Indian sociopolity. Try and fix those issues. If importing ideas from other parts of India will help solve those issues, do it. There is a big issue in inter-caste relations in Ganga valley which is still largely unresolved to larger extent than rest of India. That is because Ganga valley is last to urbanize. Urbanization brings its own churning - something that Maharashtra has undergone a century ago. All this (Ambedkar and Savarkar - even the modern ideology of Hindutva) is product of this urbanization where different castes were forced to live, eat and intermingle with each other by geography and circumstances. The ideology of Hindutva ensures that modernization does not leads to rampant westernization. It also ensures that interests of various castes are accommodated while keeping society primed towards common goal of Hindu rejuvenation. Things have changed for good and there is no way things will move to old equilibrium. This is precisely the point people like Karpatra Swami ji missed (and it is tragic that modern caste-kangers are still missing it). Ganga-Valley GC people cry about Chandrashekhar Ravan et al and his SC activism. Maharashtra has gone through all this 50 years ago (Dalit panther etc). Hindu society finds its way and moorings with time. Today in Maharashtra, things are not as bad between GCs and Dalits in India as earlier (I am including 96-kulin Marathas in GCs here). Bhima-koregaon and recent Mook-Morchas and Jarange-Patil etc was the latest iteration of this issue (which did not find resonance in urban maharashtra as much). Learn from our victories and avoid our mistakes. But claiming there are no unresolved caste-issues in Ganga valley is foolish. For all that it is worth, Shivaji Maharaj ensured that society (in all the territories which were ruled stably and directly by Hindavi Swarajya for century - MH, GJ, north KN, MP, CG, Odisha) society remained Hindutva oriented even while this internal societal churn was happening. If you do not like Ambedkar (thinking of it as Maharashtrian imposition), provide to Ganga-Valley dalits and OBCs a credible, scalable and working solution which is alternative to Ambedkar. Until that solution arises, the medicine that works will be applied everywhere. And you have to do this without losing power. Else this will never happen. Ganga-Valley is on the cusp. And how it will move will depend upon how it resolves its sociopolity. Ganga Valley has lost its knack to rule when Harshavardhan was defeated by Pulikeshi. It is in India's interest that Ganga-Valley remembers that "undefinable something" which it lost 1400 years ago and regains it. Lot of good will come out of that.
