I hate rules that are designed to make people conform, especially kids. Kids go through years of school and slowly learn to shrink themselves… to color inside the lines. Dress codes. Standardized tests. Keep your voice down. Then we hand them a diploma and tell them to go find their passion, stand out from the crowd, and build something unique. We spent 12 years teaching them not to. And then we’re surprised when they don’t know how. I hate it.

The last few months have been incredibly tough, countless sleepless nights and more sicknesses than I can count. But seeing these two little mini-us waiting to pick me up gives me all the fuel I need to keep going. It gets easier they say🙏

Some of my greatest childhood memories came from dragging a tower like that around, along with a heavy CRT monitor, to LAN parties. Quake, Starcraft, Unreal, Warcraft. Formative years!
