I paid a plumbing company $4,400 to replace a sewer line under my garage, and now my garage floor looks like it lost a fight with a sidewalk 😭 They cut a huge section out of the concrete, repaired the pipe, and patched it back in with concrete that doesn’t even remotely match the original floor. So I asked the foreman when they planned to stain or finish it so it would blend in better… And this man literally laughed and said: “It’s a garage floor, buddy, not the Taj Mahal. Be glad it’s not dirt.” 💀 BE GLAD IT’S NOT DIRT?? I’m sorry, but if I’m paying thousands of dollars for a “professional” repair, I feel like the end result shouldn’t look like a random parking lot patch job. Now I’m sitting here wondering if this just tanked the appearance — and possibly the resale value — of my garage. And Cash for clunkers LOL. The biggest used car ladder pull in history. Good job. Boomers also frequented cheap restaurants multiple times a day to the point those places are now collapsing. It doesn't matter whether you bought 3 $2 coffees or 1 $6 coffees, your burn rate is identical. You also wasted more in transport getting it. You spent more on alcohol, cigarettes, and lotto tickets than the other generations too. You also invented the crypoor mentality of "They make a dollar I make a dime that's why I shit on company time" meanwhile converting unions from building entire housing complexes to make sure their workers could strike for long periods of time to donating all the money for politicians to laugh in your face because your greed and wanting to do nothing on the job because you 'put in your time' closed another business instead of you investing in your workers having stable anything.
